Any chance you do a part of these reviews for those of us who enjoy bowling but don't have the speed or revs that you guys get. Maybe after game 1, if I start leaving single pins, I can move down to like you said a weaker Sym like my Axiom.

When I first started watching the Missouri duo, Kyle was doing most of the editing and it seems to me that Brad needed Kyle's approval to record the videos that are uploaded on their channel. Now it is time for Kyle to come to Brad's home center in Sugar Creek, MO (if Brad is still bowling there) to upload some instructional videos. I am also happy for Kyle with all of his hard bowling work with Coach Daniel and Coach Mike Jasnau. His form looks better day by day. If Kyle has Brad's attitude when bowling blocks are over, Kyle will be at a better mental place and potentially allow himself to win more titles.
I'm so upset he didn't mention it smells like frosted cupcakes. The Proton Physix is a $175 air-freshener that i guess is good at knocking down pins or whatever.
Love my Proton! Carries through the pins well and loves oil! Hits like a truck. Has the shape of my Crux Prime when it goes down the lane but a bit stronger. Both amazing balls from Storm! Top notch company that produces top of the line bowling equipment.
Wow...looks like u polished that thing up quite a bit. I remember the sure lock....never got it but I did get the snap lock which I hate but sometimes have to use and the original lock which I use all the time. My go to benchmark ball for almost everything

Everything you said I agree with the as Proton is SICK when your on with it...WHOA it is hard to beat! I start with it and my Wild Streak sometime on one each lane, but us the Dual Lock and Sapphire IQ as well, but want another Sym Solid...I think I throw the IQ the best at times, but the Proton looks pretty hitting the pocket. So what do I get the Axiom, Phase II, or the Hy-Road Max or even the Pitch Purple??? Any suggestions those are the 4 balls I bring to league and can use the Streak and IQ for corners. ;) I also have a Evolve and All Road which don't like me so much on the house shot for some reason. Holla Back!
Love this ball. Won my first tournament with the proton. Absolutely love the Astro physics got 3rd place so the that ball. Any physix they come out with I will be getting. Never had the original though

I really like the Storm Marvel Pearl and have an AstroPhysix for when it starts getting drier. But lately my alley has been putting down tons of oil and I have to move way outside just to get to the pocket. Should I get a Proton Physix to handle that condition?
Yes. Proton + heavy oil/longer patterns = the perfect match. Make sure it's drilled correctly, though. If there's a lot of oil, you probably want to avoid pin down, probably even avoid the layout Brad has, as the pin in his ring finger neuters a lot of this thing's powah.
Got both start with the Proton then go to the Physix when lanes break down. Then when they get a little toasty bring on the Astro. Atomic core sweet. 😀😃😄
The Phaze 2 is a really early rolling ball, whereas the Axiom is a bit later and sharper because of the core, so it wouldn't have been as close of a comparison as the Phaze 2
@@curtis4429 from what I've seen, a lot of the Axioms roll a lot stronger downlane, and the Phaze 2 rolls stronger in the mid and fronts. Idk, I'm not a storm/roto guy, I'm a Motiv bowler

Not really good or bad, just an indication of how much the core is "wobbling" as it goes down the lane. The more rings the more the core is flaring and exposing fresh cover to the lane.
@@jeremiegrund I think that the more the core flares the more space there will be between rings. Number of rings is partly a function of rev rate and how much oil is on the lane.
Most male pros use either 15 or 16 pound bowling balls. What I did, when I selected my weight, I've gone to the rack of house balls and thrown a few of those. Which ever weight feels most comfortable, with your arm swing is what you should go with. Now keep in mind too, the heavier the ball, the more pin action you will have as well.
@@michaelvandehey6860 In my experience if you can comfortably throw a certain weight house ball you can go a pound heavier with one that’s drilled to fit your hand. Obviously this does not apply to two handers or other no thumb bowlers.

I think that's just the look of the Vacugrips, because I know a lot of people that use those have them cut like that, but it could also be trimming the parts that stick out a little due to pitch in the finger holes so the grip is the right pitch, but is also flush with the surface of the ball
To sum it up. Brad got this ball for free from Storm in order to talk about how much he loves it. So even if he absolutely hated the ball we'd have no idea because he's only keeping it real to the company that pays him money. Want real bowling ball reviews? Look up reviews from people that do not profit from their reviews for a company they are sponsored by.
As an example. I listened to too many pros that were telling us that the Axiom Pearl is an "AMAZING BALL". Basically calling it a "MUST HAVE BALL" and that "ALL BOWLERS SHOULD HAVE THIS IN THEIR ARSENAL". So of course I decided to pick one up and it's been my least favorite ball in the 30 years I've been bowling. With my Hammer Gauntlet (assym) I consistenly average 200+ and in the month I've been using my Axiom Pearl my average has only been around a 155-160. We're talking a 40-50 pin difference! I'm ready to throw my Axiom Pearl into garbage at this point.

Careful, pin down syms leave a lot of corner pins too, but better than throwing a solid on a burnt lane
