Im trying to understand the part where u say it hits the corner of the double din?
So if I recall, the back, upper right corner hit the internals of the dash. So what I did was heat the plastic back there, then pushed on it with a screwdriver handle. It basically deformed the plastic enough to clear the corner of my radio.
