It's about Jack to whomever said heroin. He's tlaking about starting to drink early and then over time it gets a hold of him and life starts spinning out of control and he's addicted and it all goes by quickly it's why it goes crazy and ends with you wanting more. Just like alcohol. It's a story and leaves you wanting more from the song. Again just like being an alcoholic.

I told my two sons about 15 years ago that one day the pop of their early teens would be long gone and they would return to their redneck raising. They are both in their mid-twenties and listening to music like this and the old classics. Turns out old Pops was right about some things in life.
This is a hard rock tune from a great country artist. Wait in the truck is also on my playlist. This guy seems real and down to earth with what’s going on
There really are two phases to listening to this song. First, you listen to it blindly thinking of that uncle figure guiding a young boy, then you have the realization that Jack is just alcohol. I will never be able to hear this song the same way and that is in a way beautiful.
Alright, after hearing "Wait in the Truck" I thought it was a pretty good and unique country song. Then I heard "Radio Song" and I realized that Hardy wasn't trying to fit into pop country. Then I heard "Jack" and I went "Okay. This, guy is doing something really different here. He's blurring all the genre lines" and I'm stoked to be here for it. I'm a fan Hardy.
Aint no fan of country music AT ALL. BUT THIS ALBUM SLAPS. I have listened to it everyday since Cutter from Razor 104.7 in Green Bay talked about it. I just discovered this greatness... omg, yes!!!
Came here from WWE 2k23, this track really is a BEAST of a song. Been listening to this nonstop❤
I told my two sons about 15 years ago that one day the pop of their early teens would be long gone and they would return to their redneck raising. They are both in their mid-twenties and listening to music like this and the old classics. Turns out old Pops was right about some things in life.
I heard this on the radio. I like it. Thought it was about cocaine or Jack Daniels. Doesn't matter. I'll dive into Hardy for myself.
Need more of the rock hardy
Love me some jack
Hardy is exactly what country needed! 🔥
Finally an entire album with clever lyrics and great music. I dunno which song is my favorite; Jack? Sold Out? Beer? Wait in the Truck? 30.06? Radio Song? Thank you Michael for doing this album! My neighbors are enjoying it as well; even if they didn’t ask! 😉
Came to this song just because of 2k23. True Masterpiece.
A monster poet. Your use of language never ceases to draw me into greater appreciation for your music... my husband is hooked now too! We are dying to see Hardy LIVE. Yeeesssss!
I seen him live at rock the south in cullman he was awesome he blew the roof off that concert the drummer was badass I felt the vibe comeing off those drums
Saw him a couple weeks ago in Columbia SC. He brought down the house. Absolutely amazing show.
I’m from Wisconsin, but I’m making the trip to Peoria (for my birthday!) to see the show live … and I CAN NOT WAIT!
Better let someone love u
Amount of country artist he wrote for is insane. I play his albums all the time at work, country, rock, metal all mixed in one
Country is waking up, there is a new sheriff in town and his name is 'Jack'
Southern rock never died we are still here.❤😂😅😊😊😊😊j
Dude, "country" has known "Jack" forever. He's singing about Jack Daniels.
Hardy totally missed his calling going country, he has the potential to be the next Nirvana.
this dude is a rock star getting axl rose vibes
I was gonna say kid rock 😅
We needed Hardy
I have been a Hardy fan for years, but this one… wow. This hits different.
Hardy, just when I thought that you couldn’t possibly get any more fantastic. This personification of so many people’s relationship with Jack - this is an absolute masterpiece.
YOURE THE BEST COUNTRY ARTIST RIGHT NOW BY FAR!!
Eeeeee🤷🏻♂️

Love it. I am hoping for a Hardy double album. one vinyl of rock music one vinyl of country music. In between we have Hardy.
That would be so good I want that
Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it. It feels like he’s more dangerous than usual this year.
1-20-23 that’s exactly what it looks like we’ll get. gonna be a half country/half rock album. its gonna be awesome 😈
