Hey! The second TRP (machine 9) was not "up to par-" at least from what I understand they had a bad batch. A company named Sanzen bought TRP and their new TRP, which is the sample that people got in the new Hobo's for 2023, is called the Successor. I've tried all of them. Even the Dupes, lol! and the Sucessor, the newest TRP, is the closest to the old one (from machine 7). The 68gsm TRP isn't changing, it's from a completely different machine and is still working, so no changes. So glad you showed your planning. I tried all the sizes of the Wonderland 222 planner, and something about it just didn't work long term, though I love the paper and have used quite a few of the notebooks. So glad you did this video.
Oh my goodness! BURGESS!!! 😍😍😍 It's so sweet to see you in my comments and THANK YOU!!!! For explaining this to me. Seriously, you probably just saved me 5 hours of research and internet black hole. haha! I'm REALLY happy to know that the 68gms is the same. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that paper for journaling! Thanks for poppin' in! Much love!!! xoxo
One thing to know about the Stalogy is the grid in A6 and B6 is 5m which for me is so big compared to the 3.7m or the Nanami. But I may have bought 5 of the A6 and B6 slim when I heard the paper was changing.
Ugh.....sensory overload. ME TOO!!!(auditory abused musician with tinituts). I have a friend that talks really loud and I mean LOUD. I die a thousand times around her. Anyway I love your carefree way and artistic eye/hand and enjoy watching your work. Keep coming back to you.
I will be using an A6 planner next year, so your video was very helpful! I watched the whole thing, don't worry about the length. There were lots of helpful tips, thanks so much!
Thank you for sharing your process. I have adhd too and I have been having more anxiety problems, so i think I need more organization in my life so I truly appreciate any videos you make. Good to see you back more 😊
I love the "docket " at the bottom. I so feel you with ADD I sometimes wonder why the hell I can kick ass dor a day or two and then other days I find it's suddenly noon and I've done nothing! I do a lot of open needed pla Ning so I. An plug in what I'm capable of that day.
Had a beautiful wild yellow and black finch that neighbor hood cat left by my garbage can. She sang so pretty! I could tell when she was at my bird feeder by her song. Lovely to see you Ali!!!!
I LOVE seeing how you set up your planning. When I try to set up a daily plan by hour for myself I find I just can't set it and follow it. I can handle a list for the day and just try to get it done. I ordered your Chic Sparrow B6 (slim?) with the A hand tooled on the cover. I can't wait for it to arrive! Keep making content, your videos bring me so much joy, you are awesome!❤️
Oh HI!!! Your notebook started it's journey to ya yesterday morning. Thank you so much for giving it a good home! Thanks so much for sharing and for all your support! xoxo
I loved this video so much!!! I love seeing how you plan. I still rewatch some of your older videos in your personal traveler's notebook Mr Darcy!!! Longer videos don't bother me at all!! Much love!
Thank you for this video. I just ordered this planner and HOPE I ❤ it and stay in it for the remainder of 2023. Got it on sale to try it see if I like it for 2024. I am finding that There are not very many videos on this planner. Uvalde? 😍🙏🏼 I live in SA.
I'm glad you can try it out! I moved out of it into a Common Planner. Have been in that on since the beginning of the year and love it! I also live in SA. :)
I love the Wonderland222 (A6) but for some reason decided to go back to the Weeks. (🤷♀️) The paper in the Stalogy is by far my favorite, but having to hand draw everything is my stumbling block. I do set up all of my calendars in the front at the beginning of the year, so I am only doing that set up once, but my weekly/daily set up has to be done. I suppose I could set it up with everything I need at the start and then just have daily pages…. So many choices❤️❤️
I love a weeks for my life. I have a task list for work in our program called “diaries”, so for me a weeks is great for my home/family tasks and I will put in certain events or memories to journal if my a6 wasn’t with me at the time. I think for folks that have more going on a weeks isn’t enough. I like your wonderland set up and opt for keeping it simple vs more work (making your own pages) to keep things simplified.
Thanks so much for your input!! I definitely have so much going on between my ministry, counseling appts David and I do, creative business, taking care of things at home and filming for classes. All. The. Things. I think I have some answers as to WHY I was drawn to the Wonderland222 and I think I have made a decision as to what I'm going to do...spoiler alert: I've been making spreads in my bujo. 😂 You can take the girl out of the bujo but you can't take the bujo out of the girl. haha!!!
My planner plans for 2023: I ordered a month on 2 pages insert and a b6 stalogy. The monthly will be for monthly and forward planning. The stalogy will be for weekly/daily planning/to-do’s. I’ve also printed out monthly trackers and stick into my stalogy.
Oh Ali! Is it wrong to say I love to see your brain at work in these videos because it makes me realize I’m not alone in the way MY brain works?😂 I’ve tried Bullet Journaling in every kind of book, Hobonichi, Stalogy etc. and started 2022 in a B6 Wonderland. They all have their pros and cons. My problem with the Wonderland is that I love a daily page and used up the back of the book plus the extra Wonderland book I bought by April. I then had to get a Stalogy for my dailies but I haven’t liked having my month on two pages and weeks in a different book. Because of that I am going back to the Hobonichi Cousin in 2023. I think I will try and add some additional tip ins with all the best parts of the 222 because you’re right, the goals/reflections pages and the quarterly pages are awesome…. All that to say, thanks for the video!
I don't think that is wrong to say at all. It's very encouraging to know it helped you. :) Thanks for sharing what you're going to be doing the coming year. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out sooner than later. 💛
I have been doing something similar to your daily pages lately. It’s been helping visualize things better. I’m still trying to figure out how I need to see my weekly. I’ve been in a stalogy for a few years. But I’m considering switching to printables and discbound because I’m tired of drawing layouts every week and month. I have stuff to do. I might turn my stalogy into a diary/journal….
See, that is my concern...that I'm gonna get tired of drawing my monthly. The weekly layout isn't too horrible for me. I figured out a layout that would be a revision of what I was doing for years in my BUJO but that would add that 'docket' to my week. Still marinating on this. Thanks so much for hangin' out with me, commenting and sharing what you are doing. :)
I hate drawing monthly layouts too. And I’m moving back to an A6 in 2023. I have a month on one page stencil and found a blank month on two pages printable on Etsy. I’m hoping it won’t bulk things up too much if that’s the only thing I glue in… 🤞🏻
Midori has predated monthly stickers but that wouldn’t be on two pages then but it wouldn’t take so much time. And there are probably also other options, at least printables. And I think I have seen some use monthly layout stencils 🤔 Hope you find a good solution to suit your planning needs 👍🏻
Thank you so much, Kati! I did some soul searching and have been asking alot of WHY questions to boil down what is really missing in my planning. I think I have some answers and when I feel like I've solidified, I'm excited to share! 💛
Great job!! I had the Wonderland 222 planner with the companion book and my brain didn't like there being two books either so I didn't stick with it. I use a Nanami Cafe notes and just draw in the months. Now if Wonderland 222 did a book that had everything the current one does plus enough daily pages I would love that!! Even if the full year needed to be in 2 books (like the avec version of Hobonichi). I love your videos!!!
YES!!! That would be such an awesome option to do the 2 books with more blank pages. 😍 The struggle is real whether or not I should go ahead and get the 2023. 😬
Totally agree with this! If the 222 would add enough pages for a page a day in the back, in one book it might be close to a perfect planner. Or if Hobonichi would come out in B6 (no quotes) and add the goals/reflections/tracker pages the 222 has, another perfect planner!
@@lisabice7343 agreed!!!! A B6 Hobonichi would be a close second for me!! I don't love the quotes or the color choices on the Hobonichi. That being said I do love Hobonichi.
Idk if I missed it but im super curious what podcast you were listening to. Also sorry I gotta say in a way it's good to hear those things that you struggle with cause it's good to not feel alone in those struggles
Our brains just work differently than most brains. It's been healing for me to discover how to work WITH my brain instead of beating my brain up that it doesn't work normally. The channel 'How to ADHD' has been a lovely resource for me. :) The podcast is Jeanne Oliver's podcast. This is the episode I listened to. So. Stinkin'. Good! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-jeanne-oliver-podcast/id1496421339?i=1000560276012
I don't. The size a bit too odd after using 'him' for a bit. If I use inserts and TNs then B6Slim is my jam. It's just a bit shorter than Lovey. I actually started calling my new Common Planner/ELG combo Lovey. 😬 Felt a little bit bad about it but it's just that awesome of a combo and I feel so at home in it. 💛
Hi Ali, I was wondering if I could send you a DM about ADHD? If not, that’s cool. I have been following you (and was a patreon wayyyyyyy back when) for many many years. If it’s ok, please let me know what platform is ok as I don’t want to jeopardise your privacy at all. By the way, I’ve tried Stalogy, Hobonichi, MD Cotton and Tomoe River 52 and 68gm papers. I would say that to me, Stalogy is inbetween hobonichi and the old Tomoe River paper. There’s no slick feeling to the Stalogy like there is on the TR but I find it a lot more preferable to Hobo. Unfortunately I haven’t tried the Nanami paper. Hope this helps xx
Thank you so much for your sensitivity! I really appreciate that. You can email me at hello@alibrowncreative.com :) Also, thank you so much for sharing your opinion on the Stalogy paper. The Nanami paper is the 'NEW' Tomoe River paper. Is the Hobonichi something other than the TR paper? I always thought they were TR. Thanks again for your love and for watching!
@@AliBrownie Thank you so much. The Hobonichi paper is TR. I have just found the variation in quality to be ever changing.
