We lost without loosing this final, actually we were really unlucky, but at the end of the day football is not boxing and you cannot wion on points. Of corse this Ajax was an extremely valuable team, but we also have e to clearly pay credit to that Torino, tactically, technically but mostly for its team spirit. Both games were balanced, Torino was a wonderful team with Casagrande/Scifo/Lentini but in the end they could not win - nor loose - against the future queen of Europe . In 1991 Ajax narrowly lost the Dutch title being leveled at points with PSV - 53p - both having almost the same goal difference, hence they landed in UEFA Cup instead of European Cup
