I have been to Ricketts Glen so many times, but have never checked out the old dam. Pretty interesting area. I'll have to hike to this spot on my next visit.

I have visited Rickets Glen but only hiked the Falls trail. Interesting bit of history on Bruce Ricket. I did not know any of that about him. I didn’t even know there was a dam there. Really neat finding the old foundation. I think most people would not even notice it and walk right past it. Excellent video. 👍

Thanks Craig, it was my first time visiting and a nearly 4 hour drive for me so I wanted to get as much content from the park as possible so I just did a ton of research and the dam kept popping up so I knew at that point I had to check it out! It would be pretty hard to miss but I think a lot of folks just go to hike the falls trail, thanks for stopping by buddy!

Epic intro. I like the little driving sequence at the beginning, too. 10:13 Nice! (Lake Leigh Falls) 11:09 That's a pretty cool vantage point, imagining what that lake looked like. Tons of roaring water in that place, huh? I've heard people talk about that park many times, never been there. Looking forward to the next one!

My meet up video is coming out next and then back to Ricketts Glen I think, that trail was a surprise with all of the water features, you have to check out Ricketts its a truly amazing area, just try and go during a time when there aren't a million people Ive heard it gets pretty crowded

Probably my most favorite PA state park. Been to Rickets many times, and never knew that old dam existed...🤔. Thanks for the enlightenment Again as always great vid, with even better videography!!! 👊🏻😁

It is definitely in the top 5 for me...the dam is worth checking out but I think the even more remarkable part was how amazing the cherry run trail was, so many great cascades, boulders, and waterfalls along the way. Thanks Griz!

I have done the falls trail, and loved it. Now I need to go back and do the Cherry Run trail as well. We did not know about the ruins of the dam when we were there some years ago. Thanks for the great video! 😊

My favorite spot in PA so far. We did not see the dam when we went a few years back but that trail looked pretty cool. You picked a good time to go, before all of the trees started filling in.

As I watch the beginning, at Cabin E, it’s hard to believe I’ll soon be sleeping on that couch eating hot fries in a sleeping bag full of mouse poop…
The ruins of Lake Leigh Dam look really awesome, and I really want to check that out sometime. Definitely reminds me of Austin Dam.
I guess I’ll need to do the Cherry Run Trail when I go back, because it looks awesome!
