Was blessed to see Joachim in the below-ground Pap's Tapas bar in Vienna in late "82 while I was visiting my girlfriend who was studying abroad at the time. I've been following him ever since and every now and again need a few of his boogie-woogie licks to bring a smile to my face.
I rate Joachim Palden (along with 'mate'Axel of course) as the absolute master of boogie woogie from ' these day's: fabulous stuf, when is he finally coming to Holland (only saw him once till now in Belgium with Dana long long ago......)???Awesome!
