When you level up the baby monster enough you can teleport them to an "outer island" where they grow up. Outer islands are: Party Island (Level 5) Space Island (Level 10) Cloud Island (Level 15) Cave Island (Level 20) Starhenge Only certain monsters can be teleported to certain islands. Starhenge is an exception to the teleporting and has it's own 12 monsters. Each one is available for only a certain month.
I meant to send this awhile ago but also forgot to mention, that a lot of the unrecognizable monsters are all fire natural monsters that were originally introduced in DOF back in 2014/2015 then in MSM in 2018, and the fire element is the 6th natural element along side air,plant,water,cold, and earth and in total there’s 63 natural monsters, with all the singles,doubles,triples,quads, and quints (there’s only 58 in game as of now)

Starhenge is great because unlike continental is has less monsters, but each of the flow prefect with another.
