Constitution is the Supreme law of Kenya, so I believe so all other laws must be consistent with it. It's application, interpretation etc. There must be protection of human rights, say under Bill of Rights. I wholly agree with Senator Omtata is saying. Please also sue the government for damages for unlawful abductions and torture. 🇿🇦 has fully developed jurisdiction in that area. Hit the govt where it hurts the most, it's purse.

Omtata is Right. We need to separate the Treasury from the presidency and make it independent. President should be allocated budget by Parliament same as Judiciary. This will reduce corruption and capture of Parliament. It is actually the case that state house budget has to be approved by Parliament but the Budget committe is headed by an MP from the president party, where he is the leader. The selection of Parliamentary committees needs to be more elaborate and independent. We need strong parties.
