The higher the MMR, the more important the carry role is. Troll was way too passive and didn't help you push out the lanes. If you were Storm would've been a different story but having everything put on QoP's shoulders is too hard of a game.

I didn't rely on my teammate when i was on ancient bracket, and just spam the hell out of my comfort heroes till i hit divine 3. But now im trying to apply all fundamentals taught by bsj in divine bracket.
late game fights are hard as a split pusher! your team don't say or ping that they are willing to fight , they go 4v5 and throw the game, while you are trying hard to keep the waves pushed, when you are 1or 2 racks down

@pillowcase "his biggest mistake was not communicating with his team in any situation" I actually beg to differ. If you've seen his other smurf videos he intentionally does not rally the team and communicate. The best he does is ping, suggest rosh, and tip good plays. BSJ smurfing is showing what one can and should do as the role requires and "play your game" without having to coach his teammates. In his pos5 CM smurf he doesnt hand the mid a ward and explains at length the reasoning.
If you go for that splitpusher build with qop she just feels impotent in teamfights, but if you go for a more teamfight oriented build like orchid-bkb-shivas you need to be able to kill the supports fast enough and win teamfights. You cannot do both things well, you have to decide one route. I think that's why QoP is a difficult hero for a smurf. All the smurf favorites like TA, Storm, Meepo, Morph and even Lesh for that matter - can splitpush efficiently and still crush teamfights, you don't have limit yourself to one option.
First of all, Sonic Wave isn't a stun, none of her skills are (excluding Level 25 Scream of Pain Fear talent). Second, people in this bracket don't clump up together as five for the enemy QoP. Third, counters: Silences, magic resistance, roots, stuns, heals and saves, even raw DPS if the enemy team focuses you. QoP has mobility and burst damage. The problem is that's all she has. A couple AoE nukes doesn't make the enemy unable to retaliate, especially if they're split up and only a couple of them are beside each other. That's why we have items in the game in the first place, sir, which is what @Insanity was clearly talking about.

Hey bsj.,thanks a lot. After laying off a long time in playing dota. Im learning again this game because of you. I'm a support player playing ogre jak cm lion. Eventhough when I lose, I know i did my job for my team, No regrets.
This game is literally a great game despite the loss, This is exactly the type of games I lose, A carry that has no idea what to buy or where to play on the map, An offlaner walking from triangle to safelane camps chain feeding, And finally an enemy team that has such heros as dazzle that make the game 1000x harder to solo carry, BSJ played very well tried to delay the game as much as possible for that useless carry, only done about 2 fuck ups but honestly if his team played 60% the capacity of the enemy team he would have won this game for sure thx for content.
As a low MMR support, I struggle with this everytime. I ditched the idea of supporting a while ago because my carry keeps taking stupid fights. People who have no idea how to play shouldn't be picking the carry role. They need to do an update on the game to make sure that the carry is always like 300MMR higher than the support players because no matter how well you play if you have a teammate with the game sense of a toaster the game is over when it gets to late game.
@@Yoyo-sy5kl man, i would even argue that the support role should be higher, I'm a support player but most of the time I'm either forced to play offlane or mid, never carry, because honestly the pressure of carry is a little to much for me, but whenever I do play support, the carry keeps taking the pull camp, not letting me pull, maybe because we lacked communication but he started jungling even before he got god strength, and it wasn't even 7 mins, then whenever I do play a good game with a decent carry, I feel that the carry uses their brain and I just stop pulling for no reason, probably my monkey brain thinking that a safelane pushing a offlane is good, I know its not but i just forget, Carry roles should be a tad higher mmr but I still believe that the support role has a lot more impact
Amazing game. Sometimes is just hard to carry a totally passive team, not impossible but hard. Very good showing nonetheless. I'll be carefully selecting my heroes to try and climb from Acient 1,hope I can reach divine someday

your team felt like a bunch of ppl from a lower bracket... lotus saved u alot of times and is one of the most oberlooked items when u dont really need a bkb ..it gives u some sustain , lots of armor and in general is well rounded item. I liked ur consistency on cutting down waves of creeps to force rotaions. I watch alot of game play before i start my own gaming day ...and none of the carrys as ever done what u had done here. Hey BSJ, I think you played correctly adapted to the situation. I also think that maybe aghanims would have been not too bad in this game as it would allow you to do exactly what you were doing for 20 min +: splitpushing more efficiently.
550 mana to clear a wave isn't efficient. Even with agha, you generally don't clear waves with your ult. Qop aghs is a fighting item and fighting wasn't his approach to the game at that time.
Even if you lost I think this was the most interesting so far a lot of learning in there, great to see, that felt more like my games =) Feels like the US bracket is lower skill per MMR level.
Why you decided going linken instead of something like bkb or lotus orb? (bkb seems more valueable here since they have pugna, silencer ult and snap ult). You said your looking for ac too, isnt shivas better here? ofc u need the armor but making sven get less attack speed feels good + your getting more mana for skills, reducing sven life steal and getting more 200 magic dmg skill againts other heroes.

Don't feel bad about losing games as long as you're honest about why you lost. As this video shows, not even a 9k player will win 100% of the time in low bracket despite being 5K mmr higher. Shit happens, learn from mistakes and go next.
That game feels like many of my games tbh, and although your splitting was weak (cause you forgot shadow strike aoe, which means you dont have to hit anything), you strugled more than you had to. Also thought the laning phase was a bit lackluster, but unfamiliarity with matchup explains a lot of that. I think that leveling shadowstrike to max instead of your E might have been better for you since your rotations get really strong with a lower mana cost. That ofc does mean you can just go hitting creeps in woods much. All in all I'm really glad you played on this level cause it shows that not every game is winnable, even when you do like 95% of the things correctly
I have 6.5k immortal 2k friend who played on ancient account. He is core player and he was boosting support mmr (few patches ago). He couldn't boost that account at all as a support, so I as a divine helped him. Then it was easy. Also, he as a core player lose every 5th game in Ancient. But then system recognize him as a smurf and then he is getting 100 mmr per game. Bsj is a better player, Bsj would lose every 10th game in ancient, it is too much random things that is happening in that skill bracket Sadge...
On my 5k perspective the most visible mistake is that you didn't take the opportunities to kill the enemies. That by itself would make you win this game. You played safely without focusing on the item progression of the enemies to prove a point. There are some aspects in dota more important than others and you made it pretty clear to me in this game by making it totally possible for your team to win even when being very bad at playing the map. The basic shit that everybody who spams QOP knows could let you win this game but would also stuck yourself in this bracket if you don't apply BSJ's mentality on the game. I learned a lot thank you sir.
You can't take opportunities that aren't there -The enemies were often grouped because they knew they were stronger than BSJ's team collectively -They itemized Rods, Sheep Sticks and Boots of Travel just to catch BSJ,who was itemizing completely defensively because itemizing to have kill threat over one or two enemy heroes doesn't make him survivable enough to carry the entire game (If he itemized for damage, or even just played to look for kills, and got ganked by two heroes? He instantly dies or best case scenario, lives but isn't able to push or cut the creep waves, which is why the game lasted that long in the first place) -Global, Snap Aghs, Dazzle save, Pugna save. Any two heroes can nullify BSJ's pressure if he focused on trying to kill the enemies, if not completely kill him
Yeah. In hard lanes, a good carry player will simply itemize correctly, play accordingly, and when the lane is completely impossible, know when to leave the lane to jungle or make a rotation.
yes please, one where his pos5 is a complete role q farming P.O.S. that just sits behind him and watches him getting dicked from a safe distance. Where he has to pull for himself while fighting for his life 1v2
at 22:32 this is where you throw a massive swing to get a tier 2 or force buybacks -> you should've blinked to the left of the dazzle, then hit at least 3 with the ult including dazzle, you get the dazzle kill anyway and you kill 2 more potentionally even 4 with the help of the soon to be ulting troll warlord. I do play mid a lot as Drow, Jugg, Magnus, QoP, SF, storm spirit, and a few others but I think this is where the game could've been salvaged after your team lost a few fights.
Why not go AC mjonir if you are gonna splitpush anyways. The Item choice feels pretty awkward. Also I feel like you should be able to solo kill the enemy supports easily as a farmed mid but you just keep poking them then blink away.

Should your itemnization be more focused in fight more over than split pushing? I mean to play with your supports (they should play with you) and make space for the troll (i know that troll sucks, but is 4k bro)
The issue is that they are running into team fights, against a team that they are incapable of fighting most of the time. What they should be doing is shoving out waves that the enemy team is not at, forcing them to rotate, and then taking the fights when they outnumber the enemy team.
He meant that they are taking fight that shouldn't be taken nor be forced. They were significantly weaker then dire but still chose to fight. Splitt pushing made the game go for that long. if he didn't they could do whatever the hell they want. Push a t3 without losing anything. Toll not beaing able to dish out any dmg was also a big factor but timber against silencer and pugna is had. Jakiro is better against melee heros sonce he loves the stacked fights not the spread fights that happen with ranged heros. It's basicly: if they had crushed all lanes they would have been fine but with Troll being a griefer and building like shit and some lanes lost there weren't many options for good fights.

at min 30:00 in game there was no invis hero, illusion top rune just disappeared because a rune was spawned bottom

I have 6.5k immortal 2k friend who played on ancient account. He is core player and he was boosting support mmr (few patches ago). He couldn't boost that account at all as a support, so I as a divine helped him. Then it was easy. Also, he as a core player lose every 5th game in Ancient. But then system recognize him as a smurf and then he is getting 100 mmr per game. Bsj is a better player, Bsj would lose every 10th game in ancient, it is too much random things that is happening in that skill bracket Sadge...
this is the type of the team i always got, walking and farming around jungle and not pushing wave
On my 5k perspective the most visible mistake is that you didn't take the opportunities to kill the enemies. That by itself would make you win this game. You played safely without focusing on the item progression of the enemies to prove a point. There are some aspects in dota more important than others and you made it pretty clear to me in this game by making it totally possible for your team to win even when being very bad at playing the map. The basic shit that everybody who spams QOP knows could let you win this game but would also stuck yourself in this bracket if you don't apply BSJ's mentality on the game. I learned a lot thank you sir.
You can't take opportunities that aren't there
-The enemies were often grouped because they knew they were stronger than BSJ's team collectively
-They itemized Rods, Sheep Sticks and Boots of Travel just to catch BSJ,who was itemizing completely defensively because itemizing to have kill threat over one or two enemy heroes doesn't make him survivable enough to carry the entire game
(If he itemized for damage, or even just played to look for kills, and got ganked by two heroes? He instantly dies or best case scenario, lives but isn't able to push or cut the creep waves, which is why the game lasted that long in the first place)
-Global, Snap Aghs, Dazzle save, Pugna save. Any two heroes can nullify BSJ's pressure if he focused on trying to kill the enemies, if not completely kill him

Yeah. In hard lanes, a good carry player will simply itemize correctly, play accordingly, and when the lane is completely impossible, know when to leave the lane to jungle or make a rotation.

at 22:32 this is where you throw a massive swing to get a tier 2 or force buybacks -> you should've blinked to the left of the dazzle, then hit at least 3 with the ult including dazzle, you get the dazzle kill anyway and you kill 2 more potentionally even 4 with the help of the soon to be ulting troll warlord.
I do play mid a lot as Drow, Jugg, Magnus, QoP, SF, storm spirit, and a few others but I think this is where the game could've been salvaged after your team lost a few fights.
Why not go AC mjonir if you are gonna splitpush anyways. The Item choice feels pretty awkward. Also I feel like you should be able to solo kill the enemy supports easily as a farmed mid but you just keep poking them then blink away.

I don't understand why you say your team don't do anything meanwhile over the video you say they are fighting fights that we don't want to fight. Should your itemnization be more focused in fight more over than split pushing? I mean to play with your supports (they should play with you) and make space for the troll (i know that troll sucks, but is 4k bro)
The issue is that they are running into team fights, against a team that they are incapable of fighting most of the time. What they should be doing is shoving out waves that the enemy team is not at, forcing them to rotate, and then taking the fights when they outnumber the enemy team.
He meant that they are taking fight that shouldn't be taken nor be forced. They were significantly weaker then dire but still chose to fight. Splitt pushing made the game go for that long. if he didn't they could do whatever the hell they want. Push a t3 without losing anything. Toll not beaing able to dish out any dmg was also a big factor but timber against silencer and pugna is had. Jakiro is better against melee heros sonce he loves the stacked fights not the spread fights that happen with ranged heros.
It's basicly: if they had crushed all lanes they would have been fine but with Troll being a griefer and building like shit and some lanes lost there weren't many options for good fights.
