I know what he was talking about. The new kit comes with two grommet screws instead of the old C-clips. A much improved design. That is the only place that I used the loc tight. Wish I could have bought the top they make for Jeep to sell. Same top but $200 more just because it has the Jeep logo on it.
I live in Puerto Rico, under the same sunny and rainy unstable tropical weather of the caribbean. I was between the ClearLidz and the Bestop Sunrider for my 2017 JKU. I finally went with the Sunrider and I absolutely love it!! 2 and a half years later and the Sunrider has stood the test of time. It still looks brand new! Will be waiting on your video to see which one is your favorite and why. Maybe we’ll share the same opinions. PS. Beware of the cat sleeping on top of the Sunrider. Once had one sleeping on it and left a carpet of cat hair on top of the Sunrider, which was a hassle to clean!!
Great video. Just got mine delivered but will have to wait until the weekend to pop it on. I'm in the hot Arizona desert sun so I'm not so sure how well the fabric will fare against UV fading and such. Guess we'll see. Seems there used to be an unlimited warranty but now it's only 5 years...

@@Hong.9tro I did make sure to apply the Bestop twill protectant. Every few months I'll apply more, I feel it'll help.
