No word of a lie. Once while getting stopped by a cop for speeding and being asked why I was driving so fast I replied, "I'm making time" He laughed, but I still got the ticket regardless.
Best use of a song in a soundtrack ever, bar none - the way the guitar goes from percussive chunka-chunka to single wah-wah line to electric armageddon is perfectly synced to Marwood’s understanding moving from that he’s in a car, to that he’s in a car that’s moving fast, to that he’s in a car that’s moving too fast and too erratically driven by a silly tool who’s full of scotch.
I've never seen the film baby driver but i know its this dude whose a get away driver with a sick playlist to inspire him basically, anyway the point being if i was to make a driving fast playlist this song would be #1 on the list for sure!
I drove some shit heaps in the 70s but that Jag takes the prize. Filmed around the new unopened M25 between potters bar and Watford. I burnt some rubber down there.....before the cameras of course.but i never broke 😅😅😅😅the speed limit😅😅😅😅😅
Richard E Grant is VERY Stan Laurel when acting drunk I find. I saw him on Twitter wearing TRIPLE corduroy on the beach in 2018 so I asked where he got the audacity to do so in public and he sent me a red love heart by return! I tell you... For a second I came over quite Uncle Monty, I then spent the better part of the afternoon looking up at the sky and questioning all of the life-choices I had made before. 🤫🌞🇬🇧
The greatest scene in cinema. The chaotic guitar, the screeching tyres, the cutting and timing. Masterpiece.
+Natsume The timing was not enough to rid us of the red Bedford Astramax van, or the red Volvo 340.

This movie is further proof of how mkii's are the car of choice for British crims

Great song and great film. Richard E Grant, particularly, is just perfect.
I got a dui when I was19 listening to the Berkeley version of this song. That was 13 years ago.
*GETINTHEBACKOFTHEVAN!!!*
he only had one line ... so clearly wanted to make the most of it.
I finally worked it out. Screaming policeman is a blend of Rowan Atkinson and John Deacon.
When london was still ours…

It's perfectly alright. Leave them to me.
Jag MKII's were the car of choice for English Gangster's getaway cars....this one looks like it's seen better day however.
Sweeny always used Ford and always caught the villains in their Mk 11 Jags.
Rock music is rarely used effectively in films. in fact it is rarely used in films.
Great Stuff
Some nice cars
Best film ever made really??
Not the best, but DEFINITELY one of the best films ever made. There is no such thing as the best film ever made.
@@adrianortiz1946 There is. It's this one.

Oh silly me I always thought it was Voodoo CHILD. It's actually about Chile, a great Country.
I've got a heart condition. If you touch me, it's murder.

Wonder what happened to the car? Looked rough then!
M25 signs
They still had middle lane hoggers even in those days…
Only about 14 cars on the road, no need for that....😅
