I am Minnesota fan this is awesome remember my parents watching Tony Dungy playing Minnesota against Ohio State at old Memorial Stadium and Woody congratulated Dungy on a great game. I love people like Woody he was old school this guy was an American Patriot
3:25 They were up 50-14 and missed the two pointer. When asked why he went for two Hayes said "Because my long snapper and kicker were pretty banged up and I need them healthy for the upcoming Rose Bowl, so I couldn't take a chance" Yeah, the truth is never as much fun.
I remember on my twenty second birthday how everything was going well that day for an Ohio boy that was living in Seattle, Washington at the time until I turned on the NBC Nightly News. That day March 12th of 1987 was totally decimated by hearing of the passing of the GREATEST coach in Buckeye history. A few years ahead to the day the Buckeyes (who were coached by John Cooper at the time) came to Seattle to play the Washington Huskies, I remember meeting Archie Griffin at halftime of the game and mentioned how much I missed Coach Hayes and how good the program was under him...Archie smiled, paused and said "He sure was a good one...wasn't he?"

This is excellent. Narrated by the great Paul Keels - radio voice of the Buckeyes.
Bo Schembechler got his coaching start under Woody Hayes at Ohio St from 1958-1962 and also played for him at miami,oh as guard.
That was great. Thank you Archie.
