@@SethinBerlinSadly she recently moved back to Latvia from Germany. She wrote that she will have a video out in about 2 weeks that explains why the quit her job in Germany and moved back home.
DB used to be very good in the past. The German governments (federal & state) of the last decades have chosen to put their transport money mostly into car infrastructure, and very little into rail infrastructure. I guess the car industry lobby in Germany has been successful. The results of this are showing. Fortunately at least some cities in Germany have improved on bicycle infrastructure, but there is still a long way to go there as well.
the Kitchen is more a thing where you rent an apartment. in North Germenay 90% of the Apartments come with kitchens. in Northrine Westfalia they never come with one. Mini Jobs are not Tax-Free, the employer pays the tax and social insurance, but it did not count towards unemployment insurance, but you can sign it up for the german version of the 401k.
13:00 Erika is from Latvia, not sure where in Germany she is from Also, yeah, her video probably should have been called "9 things I didn't know about Germany before moving here" because I doubt anyone wishes to know information which would have not really changed anything for them (except the health insurance part at the end, which she didn't really explain)
6:30 Why? When do children have no school? Sunday is a family day! Most women / mothers are employed in retail. As a self-employed person, you can organize your time even better. It's a question of organization. Your parents are guaranteed to know stores that are closed on Sundays. The turnover of 24/7 companies does not compensate for the higher costs, so prices go up!
I wasn’t always self employed. I worked 9-5 and in retail over the years. I get the reasons for it but I also get that it’s annoying if you need to go to the store on the one day you have off
@winterlinde5395Moin, Winterlinde 😊 I hadn't heard that until recently, but it's been floating around on RUclips lately. Since it's not a big effort to write more than seven words, I just do it without being 100% sure that it's true.
Self check outs is killing jobs. Why should I do the job and always be under suspicion? Yes, DB is pretty shit compared to Japan and Switzerland, alos 2 countries out of 170?
Well, I'll never visit a grochery store with no cashiers. Mayve it''s crazy, but I don't like to give my money to machines. I prefer to pay real humans.
@@SethinBerlin I was really reluctant to try it, and now I want nothing else, but unfortunately the super markets in my area of Munich mostly don't have self check-out.
HelloErika my favorite RUclipsr. She’s got a great sense of humor.
@@mikedanyurs5126 she’s got a super cute personality

@@SethinBerlinshe lived in a town near Dortmund I believe before she moved back to Riga. Before Germany she lived a couple years in The Netherlands.
I think a collab. video with Erika would be great, if she comes back to Germany or you go to Riga.
I love both your channels! So funny that you’re reacting to her
@@TheSagefx she’s fun. You should watch Mondays livestream. I livestream reacted to a video of hers

Just an algo push with more than seven words. Good night! 💤
Really? I didn’t know the seven words thing! Thought, an Emoji would do. 😮

If I have like two or three things I’ll take self checkout every time. DB may be better than most but that doesn’t make it great
