As a Spurs fan i remember West Ham fans trying to brag about beating us to the deal for the stadium, now I actually feel sorry for West Ham supporters, losing this deal was the best thing that could have happened for our club.
as a liverpool fan, i can only sit here and say, i wish,,, yes we may be having a new stand at anfield built, but your stadium is outstanding, congratulations, and all the best for your new future
I'm an Arsenal fan and I just want to say what an incredible job you guys have done! Rivalries aside your a great club in my eyes and I really hope you have a great season, the stadium looks absolutely stunning and is now the 2nd best in England after the Emirates😉can't wait to come down when we play you! I think this could be the start of something really special for you and guide you into becoming one of the top clubs in the Premier League! You have passionate owners, a great manger and are starting to build a very exciting team! I hope the people at Arsenal can take a leaf out of your book! All the best for 16-17 season!
Yep no rent to pay and basically a free stadium lol. Police costs and stewards to be paid by the taxpayer.. All of this was negotiated between Mr Boris Johnson and the owners 😏 nothing dodgy there hey? Lol. Crime of the decade easy
The stadium looks amazing. I'm sure in months to come the atmosphere at the ground will be new and exciting with new songs and we will make it our own!! COYIs!!!
"Look at our lounges." "Look at our catering." "Look at our big store. Open 7 days a week" "Look at our coffee shop" "You can buy all the stuffs" Football just keep going down hill. Against Modern Football!
You'd best take that argument to Seb Coe and Boris Johnson mate. They were the ones who were so pigheaded, stubborn and determined to see that the stadium would remain an athletics stadium (and not built properly with a conversion to football in mind from the start) when it was clearly obvious to anyone with half a brain that an athletics stadium would not pay for itself and would be a massive white elephant. Just look at Atlanta which was built with a conversion to baseball in mind in contrast to other host cities which have ended up saddled with running costs for a stadium that does nothing. The cost of the stadium is a governmental matter and embarrassment and nothing to do with West Ham.
+786matty barely, they paid £15 million out of £272 million for the convention of the stadium. That means taxpayers had to pay for everything else. They should have paid so much more
London Stadium? Bit uninspiring just call it the Olympic Stadium, plenty of other clubs do and fans will as well. At least it's not called The Mahindra Stadium, fingers crossed.
It was the best traditional ground. And it was actually a really good stadium too. The main stand was as good as any main stand in the country. The Bobby Moore and the away stand where pretty good. The chicken run belonged in the 50s, but overall you couldn't fault it. Having the new stadium doesn't mean West Ham are going to improve. They will remain a mid-table premier league club/ yoyo club, like they always have been. I don't know where the hell you got league 2 from??? ..........But I feel really sorry for the fans because they've had this great traditional football stadium with an intimidating atmosphere bang smack in the heart of the local community, (not just anywhere, the East End of London) and now they're moving to the freakin Westfield Centre into some squeaky clean bowl shaped nothing stadium that only women and children will like!!........Don't you like real trafditional football grounds??
Man city aren't man city anymore in my opinion. They've completely lost all their traditions by leaving Maine Road, bang smack in the middle of Moss Side to move to that shitty soulless Commonwealth Games Stadium..........I'm saying that Olympic Games Stadium looks too squeaky clean and family friendly...like it's not West Ham. West Ham are rough around the edges. Plaistow, Priory Road and all that, Nathans Pie AND Eels, pie and mash liquor, no frills, real East London, I beg you not to go through with the move cos you'll loose your traditions and identity. You should rename the club Stratford Irons, cos its definitely not West Ham......Also West Ham have been up and down (promoted 3 times) since the prem started, that's pretty YoYo if you ask me!! You're a decent club, but breaking into the top 5 or 6 will be down to the players on the pitch, not down to the stadium!! It's a very very bleak time to be a West Ham fan I can assure you. It will be a very special season next season, but 3 or 4 seasons from now I can guarantee it will all turn sour!! Way to fix something that was never broken in the first place!!
Promoted in 94 (promotion 1), then relegated again 03, then promoted in 05 (promotion 2), then relegated in 11, then promoted in 12. (promotion 3), up - and - down like a Sunderland or a Birmingham or a West Brom or a Newcastle. ............ Ok mate you enjoy your new corporate stadium, maybe you can go for one of your fancy coffees in that new coffee shop underneath the stadium, or saying that go for a corporate lunch in Zizi in the Westfield before the games. I'm sure you do enough of that with your work chums on your lunch hour at work. I'm boycotting that Stadium though because it's for prawn sandwich munchers, not your salt of the earth people. I'd rather be Forest and never win anything again but keep my club, than be City in their Ethihad Campus with the gorgeous interior.........We'll just have to agree to disagree mate, we're different people. You enjoy your little corporate nightmare and i'll stick to my scruffy cafes and full English breakfasts reading the Daily Star ;)
+chumba wumba because the government built a stadium for the 2012 Olympics that was basically a glorified temporary structure not fit for purpose and required huge conversion costs to avoid it being a white elephant when they could have just done the sensible thing and built it with a conversion to football in mind (which was the only possible realistic use for the stadium). Bugger off blaming West Ham, it's Seb Coe and Boris Johnson you want to take this up with. As stated above.
+Nick Cockayne West Ham should have been made to pay much more. it was a secret deal, the taxpayer should NEVER have to subsidise a Premier League club.
+chumba wumba Again, West Ham are not to blame for this. We were originally going to buy the stadium until Daniel Levy from the spuds and Barry Hearne stuck their oar in and forced a review. We ended up with a tenancy deal instead of being part owners because of those two muppets. The stadium is in Newham which was formed from the amalgamation of West Ham and East Ham, it is West Ham territory. Hearne's argument was a red herring, Orient's ground may be closer but that's totally irrelevant as the Boleyn was never in West Ham, it was in East Ham. The Olympic Stadium actually brings us home.
Hopefully, London Stadium and another venue like Manchester's Old Trafford or the Emirates host FA Cup semifinal matches and use Wembley for the final only.
As a Millwall fan (plz don't hurt me) they honestly do but if you got a new stadium you would want to go the current offers they making for me it's worrying who close there becoming a Europa group regular and maybe even cl group if they keep progressing at this rate but I ain't a hater good luck West Ham
Well over 50k season tickets sold, so yes to answer your question. Which is why the club have already increased capacity and will do so again in a year or two. Waste of space would've been if West Ham had left the OS to rot instead.
No matter what they call it it will be generally known as the Olympic stadium. I reckon London stadium is a temporary 'official' name until a sponsor is found, I'm pretty sure the club doesn't hold the naming rights to the ground as it's a shared multi-purpose venue. Edit: it's shaping up nicely though :)
INSTEAD OF SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON FUCKING LOUNGES THAT THE PROPER FANS WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO AFFORD, WHY DONT YOU SPEND THE MONEY ON PLAYERS SO WE CAN ACTUALLY BE A CLUB THAT FUCKING FITS THE STADIUM!
I wonder if Spurs/Arsenal or Chelsea had this Stadium and had " Club London" how many Hammers fans would say that's all right guys claim the " London" tag....we don't mind at all...:)
So this video was a 6 minute sales pitch trying to flog coffee, food, shirts, merch, etc. Then a brief passing mention at the end that a football stadium is involved too, and the atmosphere during games will be 'amazing'. The only amazing thing about this is just how far modern football has come from its roots as the people's game - fuck it.
Getting this stadium is like winning the lottery for West Ham. No financial restrictions like us gunners had to put up with. Extra cash means bigger better players. Just promise you'll keep beating Spurs cheers
It has to be said, there's the textbook *right* way of changing stadiums and a London club indeed has done that, yet that club is Tottenham Hotspur. West Ham are now the textbook *wrong* way to do it. Other clubs around the world should take note
Good for the west hams future but they let the local business's down around Upton Park saying they could move with the new club but the shops like the pie & eel shop are not posh enough for the greed of modern football.
money is killing football. Branding this franchise as ''CLUB LONDON'' and practically giving away tickets to fill the stadium is not fair on the many other small London clubs, You're taking fans away from the Brentford's, Barnets, Leytons, dagenhams, and wimbledons who need fans to fund their clubs ... not forgetting all the businesses that have been left round the Boleyn ground who were promised work.? the SKY SPORTS premier league money should be thrown down the leagues to support the football clubs that would progress and produce world class young English footballers
Just to let you know West Ham fans if you want to try something on in the changing room there's only one and on a match day it's not open in the store!!!!!!
Rivalry aside, I have to say this is a luxury stadium but West Ham fans should now you can't be big a team on 1 half decent season. For me they are another Everton. See you next season.
modern stadiums are shit. looks how far away the stands are from the pitch. This is gonna be another Emirates stadium..great club, but real fans being priced out will leave it a library on match day. traditiinal griunds like dortmunds are the way to go, square with steeep stands.
No they won't ....money :Spurs have so much more.....stadium: Spurs new stadium is going to be 20,000 or so seats bigger and history of Spurs is so much better Then West Ham and also the players at Spurs are just all round better
Now you don't really mean that , do you ? :) ( Not a Spud ). Spurs had the luckiest escape in history by losing the race to LS. Now they have turned it around and stay in their manor using the traditional name. WHU have totally lost their FAMOUS identity and massive Home advantage they enjoyed for 100 years. Only got 2 Home points aggainst ALL the sides above them and all Home Wins against sides in or around the bottom other than Burnley( worst away record ! ). All 1/0 apart from C.Palace 3/0 and nearly all late winners or by a Penalty that was hotly disputed ( Burnley/Hull ).. DECENT teams are not scared anymore and they can play on that wider pitch.
Athletics stadium with rediculous temporary seating for football. A massive gap between upper and lower tiers and miles from the pitch. The design of this stadium has not been thought through to cater for football after the Olympics. A great deal for Sullivan/Gold with no thought for the fans.
HOLD UP !!!....Now call me S-L-O-W but having taken little interest in the semantics I , genuinely, did not realise that West Ham have got the cheek to call it LONDON Stadium !! !! I have only just written about " Club London" not realising until I read some comments below what they have done..lol ....West Ham are the biggest Club in East London/Essex but certainly behind Arse ( ugh ! ) Chelsea ( ugh! ) and Spurs over the last 50 years .LIBERTY !
I don't hate Spurs for the same reason I don't dislike West Ham..for more than 50 years they both have ( nearly ) always tried to play attacking football unlike, say, the Arsenal Double Winning side circa 1971..
As a Spurs fan i remember West Ham fans trying to brag about beating us to the deal for the stadium, now I actually feel sorry for West Ham supporters, losing this deal was the best thing that could have happened for our club.
Stands are miles away from pitch
They can move in closer. Then out for athletics
Atmosphere gonna be awful that far from pitch! Looking like a bit of a shitty stadium
thats in athletics mode Mr no brains.
Front seats move closer to the pitch for match days, and Back seats are closer to the pitch than they are at Wembley
The track is covered by a green plastic sheet....they told a massive lie about retractable seats
as a liverpool fan, i can only sit here and say, i wish,,, yes we may be having a new stand at anfield built, but your stadium is outstanding, congratulations, and all the best for your new future

Mid November now....be happy with mid table!!
Boleyn Boy summer 2018 be happy with our signings now!
West Ham hit the jackpot with this new stadium. Whoever negociated this deal, take a bow son.
Yep no rent to pay and basically a free stadium lol. Police costs and stewards to be paid by the taxpayer.. All of this was negotiated between Mr Boris Johnson and the owners 😏 nothing dodgy there hey? Lol. Crime of the decade easy
Where was spencer at the season ticket part
will maybe find it on his vlogs
His season tickets are for this year?
The stadium looks amazing. I'm sure in months to come the atmosphere at the ground will be new and exciting with new songs and we will make it our own!! COYIs!!!

Ikr, this looks crazy. Can't wait to go to the first game of the season
Ladies and gentlemen, if you look to the right, you´ll see West Ham United board, compleatly tearing the clubs history apart....
Liverpool fan here and I can't be bitter whatsoever, your new stadium looks amazing !
Come on West Ham !
I've seen you a lot in the west ham comment section, is west ham your first club?
+Frankie Moore Third :)
+Ultras Milan Who's your first and second team then😊?
+Frankie Moore AC Milan first, second Brescia Calcio
Frankie Moore What's your club ?
On the wraparound banners (with our somewhat limited trophy success) I think we should have put "1966 World Cup Winners" just to wind people up
"Look at our lounges." "Look at our catering." "Look at our big store. Open 7 days a week" "Look at our coffee shop" "You can buy all the stuffs"
Football just keep going down hill.
Against Modern Football!
Spot on.A meal some coffee from the west ham coffee company a bit of shopping.Any time left to watch the fucking football Karen!
Biggest pack of lies in our clubs history...WHUFC R.I.P
London stadium sounds much better than the Samsung Stadium to be fair. Looks awesome !
is every UK taxpayer on the founders wall?

Honestly as a west ham fan I am not looking forward to the move I will miss upton Park we don't want glory hunting fans ⚒⚒😢😢
but we want a club what win things.
4:11 ..'and with 44 til points; how many of those will actually manned at any one point. I'm guessing two like most supermarkets.
Gold, Sullivan and Brady - In a funny sort of way are legends in my book... Saying that, so is Carlton Cole! COYI, a nice run in Europe please!
Im a Spurs fan and i feel really bad for West Ham.. So glad Tottenham built a real football stadium and not this shit
STOP STEALING FROM THE TAXPAYER !!!
Yeah let's just leave the place to rot unused instead.
no but you should have to pay for it
+Louis Elwood they're paying rent aren't they ?
+786matty barely, they paid £15 million out of £272 million for the convention of the stadium. That means taxpayers had to pay for everything else. They should have paid so much more
Prat
Helped build the steelwork for this refurb , will be a belter of a stadium when finished
London Stadium? Bit uninspiring just call it the Olympic Stadium, plenty of other clubs do and fans will as well. At least it's not called The Mahindra Stadium, fingers crossed.
looks the dogs bollocks all the best on your new journey LFC fan ⚽👍
not as good as upton park tho ^

London stadium hardly westham is it there loads of clubs in London 😡
Ikr London stadium piss off 😂
Can't wait to be on the season ticket waiting list for the next 20 years.
Fucking hell it's a stadium not a shopping centre
It's a business you mug

Already filled...as opposed to the space between your ears. Have you been living under a rock for the past 5 months.
one of the most iconic lad it's been up for 5 minutes

London Stadium? You serious? Just get Betway to sponsor it. Betway Stadium sounds better.
Nice to know the fans can eat well, before they inevitably spiral to the Championship
Anyone else notice the shop assistant wearing what looks like the new home kit?
Yes !!
It's a training top
Alot of away fans looking forward to smashing up a new stadium. Hey they own it so they can do what they like!
Good luck at your new stadium (from a rangers fan)
Last trophy west ham won 1965 LOL
What a 'giant club' 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wonder if Spurs/Arsenal or Chelsea had this Stadium and had " Club London" how many Hammers fans would say that's all right guys claim the " London" tag....we don't mind at all...:)

WHAT A CLUB!
I'm definitely a plastic Hammer whilst Birmingham aren't in the Prem! ( could be a while.. )
The Animated crowd in this is better then FIFA's LOL

Karen! You're fired!
So that new email that you made, can we suggest transfers?
London stadium... Creative
Took them a while to think of that...
I can't wait until the next season
behzinga lives right next to this he will be happy
its a shame they aren't taking the programme sellers and burger vans to the new ground, I was disappointed at that
Really are a lot of sour grapes on here. Live with it.
So many Jealous haters commenting. I don't like the name London Stadium, but every Hammers fan I know, plus myself calls it the Olympic Stadium
it's going to be called THE TESCO finest stadium I heard
Just to let you know West Ham fans if you want to try something on in the changing room there's only one and on a match day it's not open in the store!!!!!!
Rivalry aside, I have to say this is a luxury stadium but West Ham fans should now you can't be big a team on 1 half decent season. For me they are another Everton. See you next season.
Holy shit that's a big stadium 😮
Looking good!!!
Can't wait to watch Spurs win here
So what happens to the bubbles song?
Brady is still mint as fuck.
modern stadiums are shit. looks how far away the stands are from the pitch. This is gonna be another Emirates stadium..great club, but real fans being priced out will leave it a library on match day.
traditiinal griunds like dortmunds are the way to go, square with steeep stands.
4min 40secs -sneak peek at the new home shirt?
Come on irons
So have West Ham stayed with the home kit from last year
No it's new and the badge is new too
Sad, so much effort gone into this - but it's never going to be full.
What's going on with the stadium wrap?
LOOOOL WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT BADGE.
Nah but seriously, nice stadium.
Come on you irons can't wait till my first game vs Juventus !
Great stadium for a club the size of west ham. shows they want to become a big club. you'll soon overtake spurs.
No they won't ....money :Spurs have so much more.....stadium: Spurs new stadium is going to be 20,000 or so seats bigger and history of Spurs is so much better Then West Ham and also the players at Spurs are just all round better
+Ziggy The new White Hart Lane is going to be 80,000 seats? I'm calling you on that straight away. That's total bollocks
DECENT teams are not scared anymore and they can play on that wider pitch.
so what happens to the running track ?
The seats are movable
The seats move closer to cover the running track on match days
They've done a fuckin good job.
Only if west ham was as world class as 'The Fordge
West Ham rules
Come on you irons
Will they have the running track? That will suck for hammer fans
Athletics stadium with rediculous temporary seating for football. A massive gap between upper and lower tiers and miles from the pitch. The design of this stadium has not been thought through to cater for football after the Olympics. A great deal for Sullivan/Gold with no thought for the fans.

Why couldn't we call it the Olympic Stadium
the pitch is to far from the stands.
Not a fan of the name tbh, London Stadium D:
Looks amazing..
People will refer to it as the Olympic Park forever whatever you rename it
Everything just reminds me of the Emirates stadium. West Ham was a club of the people. Now just another corporate money spinner. Shame.
44 tills?? for why, everything is amazing btw
Football has gone looks like john Lewis shopping centre.
Hope those black seats are coming out, not very on-brand are they?
The Bobby Moore statue?!
looks amazing
wow they sold out, ripped the soul out of the club
can we call it the HMRC stadium?
They could have put 80 thousand seats back and sold them out!
