Some of the movement and passing in Sydney’s attack tonight was class. Caceres, Lolley, Sena, Klimala and Ouahim would have been enough to pick apart any defence in the A-league. You add Douglas Costa in the mix and they look like potential champions. So much composure whenever he’s on the ball and still has great pace at his age. The Auckland v Sydney game next weekend is gonna be a cracker
I agree we (Sydney) looked really good at times going forward, the midfield was a little bit weak though so it might just take a few more weeks to gel or we could be a bit vulnerable in the middle of the park and a better team could punish us hard
This Sydney side are something. Their performance against Hiroshima in ACL2 impressed me a lot and led me to this video. I was not an A-league follower, but might watch them when I can.
@AlkadMzu_mayal Whether all the people that had tickets to the game attended? From what I just saw in the you tube highlights, a large crowd attended, long may it continue.. Love football.
as a City supporter I got to admit, I watched city vs Newcastle and thought the quality was absolute horse poop, but the quality in this game was some the best I've seen in the a league in a long time.
I'm from Romania and I've been following the A-League for many years, sports betting made me watch more intensively because I used to watch when David Villa played but not with such interest, I can certainly say that many times in the A-League a more beautiful football is played than in Romania. I hope to see you at the 2026 World Cup in America.
When you see tackles like that by Burgess you got to wonder what was the end goal because there is no way that is not going to be called and the red card is thoroughly deserved. That could have been the edge WSW needed to get that equaliser.
Juan Mata - The marque that WSW picked up from the clearance bin at the local Aldi... RBB and the WSW fans are pathetic. They cling to their ACL trophy from 10 years ago.... Its the only thing they will ever win. Sydney is sky blue. 2004 > 2024 . Always was. Always will be.
@@74_pelicans Doesn't matter. Your team sucks, your stadium sucks, your home crowed sucks.... Champion of Asia.... and its been down hill ever since. What I truly enjoy, is when you stated... the club started so well.... atmosphere, trophies, success & its just been down hill ever since... It brings me so much satisfaction to watch your failure year after year, to watch your home crowed & atmosphere evaporate. The way your fans cling to your ACL trophy with tears in their eyes. A League is so hard to watch. Slow, lack of skill compared to the EPL. This why I tell people that I can't watch women's sport, that it celebrates mediocrity. When they call me sexist, I quickly respond with, I can't watch the mens A League. I believe that I deserve the best and refuse to settle for 2nd best or 10th best. Such a poor standard to watch

Auckland's defence was pretty shaky against Brisbane's counters, it could get ugly for Auckland next week.
Pleasure to watch tbh
Patryk Klimala on his way to becoming one of Sydney's best signings. My upmost respect for the lad.

solid pass in the lead up to WSW goal

How's the crowd? Magnificent. Terrific game.
The Attendance was pretty poor for a Sydney derby
@Aids-burger I have just looked at the highlights, the stadium appeared quite full. Am I not correct? And according to the smh it was a sell out..
Agreed I was there and it was like 95% full. The atmosphere was electric
This sold out game had a poor attendance 😂

The best team won on the night...Lolley on his way to being best player in the league
What a turn out from the crowd
Great game of Aleague football
Sydney definitely have the better marquee purchase.

Indeed. WSW , 'Poor man's Milan , your just a poor mans Milan ', as a new Auckland FC fan I'm already starting to dislike WSW

Refs need to get a grip and open their eyes. So many hands over players and shirt pulls went unpunished.
looked red to me..
Another hopeless season for the Western Sydney Wanderers.
Good fuck your fake ass team
Juan Mata is the sort of player that gets me interested in the A-League.
Well don’t get to excited, he’s shit
And he did fuck all. Wanker
Casual
Some of us don’t like watching garbage football mate and we need the draw of some quality. A league is terrible
@@danielrostirolla5442 go play in it then if its so terrible
Can someone please explain to me how that is a red card. All I’ve seen is a step on the foot
Top half of burgess’ boot got him on the shin
So because he grazed his lower shin it’s a red
That’s harsh
@@ComplainingSydneyFCSupporter because he easily could've broken his leg/ankle
The tackle then stepped on his back.
New season, same result. WSW with another limp derby performance.
Failure is the only thing WSW are good at.
Juan doesnt matter!!!!
Red card for that, this game is a fkn joke nowadays
Exactly, he stepped on his foot!
The ref completely lost control in the end
How?
He was giving 50/50 challenges and not giving bad tackles
Andrew Redmayne has the worse distribution in the
A league ..get him out
ref was alright i thought
frrrr
Burgess gets another brainless red card.
Ok
That red card was weak
clear red

Popavic shouldve been off, clisby has to go i dont think i can handle another season of his crosses
brilliant save from vidackovic aswell
Shit boring ending full of time wasting and substitutions and playing backwards
I think both teams always beat each other at their own home grounds but RBB always beats them in their home ground too
Sydney fc has more Darby wins though so it really doesn't matter where you win its about how much you win by just like we are miles ahead in trophies
Absolute fantasy, the RBB barely ever turn up.
Only cause they been around longer and are one of the oldest teams that have been too rich
I mean they turn up to the Darby
