I know this is an old video but how did u chain combos like that, I've noticed the cpu does it alittle on very strong but i can't figure out how, everytime i stop a combo there is a long pause in between animations where i can't move but u can stop a combo half way and attack again so fast, how? Btw I've already tried pressing G and/or sidestepping which doesn't work. Please answer this, please
Basically, you have to hold down the attack button (for example, triangle) and press guard while holding and charging the attack. That does a sort of "cancel" where you can cancel your attack while the opponent is stunned, allowing you to combo into something else. After I finally started learning how to cancel combos the easiest way I can do it is with goku anybody else pfft! A 12-hit base combo ik only know how to do!

Man this was always one of my favorites as a kid, a lot of people didn't but I really like the way the story mode played.
I think it’s one of the more underrated entries in the franchise. Overall, I still hope to see Budokai come back someday.

It's a start! Goku was the first character I learned to cancel with. Just keep practicing and you'll keep improving. :)

For sure! Budokai 1 ain't bad by any means, but it feels so heavy and a little dated to play imo.
