Christian Banks Literally the only thing you have to do is find an upload of the unaltered song, go into the video player's settings and speed it up.

Maybe so, but the work the character is from started in 2009, whereas RWBY started in 2013.
And lets be honest, small girl+big weapon isn't exactly an unusual thing in anime, and scythes are fairly common for characters who stand out in an anime's world.
