Yes it is a lovely little town sadly what remains of the old kilns are very difficult to find. The kind man was very proud of his city and typical of so many Thais I have encountered in my travels here. If you are ever in this direction the one hotel I stayed had a very nice air-con room for 400 baht a night best air-con room deal I have found in a while.
