- This week I hit the road in the newly restored truck camper shell and make a return to van life! I explore Northern NM around the Jemez Mountains and find a gnarly road right next to a massive canyon.

Yes please. When you share your adventures with those of us who can't, we get to adventure vicariously through your videos. Thank you!!!
Young man, first, let me say you’re a very positive guy, which I think is wonderful… I so enjoy your very entertaining and professional videos. I think you have tremendous talent not only in your ability to convey your messages, but also to figure out ways to do things in so far as repairing or organizing. Good for you and God bless.
Holding your breath while passing through a tunnel! Love the child side of you.
We used to lift our feet when crossing railroad tracks in the car.
Thank you for the beautiful video.
Beautiful video! The music you chose when you were showing the Gilman Tunnels was ON POINT. Definitely an old Western vibe. Can't wait to see more of your upcoming travels.
Very nice trip. Thank you for taking me with you. I enjoyed it.
What makes the tunnels dangerous is the rock slides. Great video by the way 👍🏼
So glad your showing us New Mexico as not many do. Enjoy the adventure.
Yay! Nate is back in the trail ! 🥳🏜️ 🥾 hiking and exploring is your main thing!! Excelent video and great footage with the drone 💯👍🏻
Glad to see you're back out on the road, although I have enjoyed following your journey, I really miss the 'Van Life' videos. Stay safe and keep up the good work.
Always enjoy watching you explore.
Thanks for sharing this video adventure. Beats cleaning mouse dirt.
Smile.
So glad to see you on the road again, beautiful video!
Stunning area and great video and drone shots...but that is in the western half of NM. Congrats on being on the road again!
beautiful! I love that area.
Fantastic video! Thanks for taking us along, look forward to seeing more!
Yahoo... Back on the road.. Hello From MI.
i like hiking trails with benches
If you ever have a chance, you must go to Sedona Az for the most gorgeous red rock formations. I live in Prescott Az and I never tire of going to Sedona. Try to go during the week as the weekends are ridiculously busy.
The Honeymoon Trail in Southern Utah is an exciting . . . get your blood pumping . . . ride. We popped a tire: fun.
We recommend the Hwy4 Cafe in Jemez Springs.
Great video Nate...thanks for sharing.
I enjoy all of your content but prefer the van life stuff! And I LOVE NM
SUPER! I really enjoyed this video, Nate! Glad you are doing what you love! You take me to places I could never go on my own. This was really interesting and a place I’ve never heard of before. Thank you.
I went to a ymca summer camp near the soda dam when I was probably around 10 years old.
Great to see you back out hither and you. It sounded like you held your breath as you drove through the 1st tunnel. Gorgeous footage. Thanks Nate.✌️
Cool area! I’ll add it to the list! Thanks
I have been to all the places you visited. I live in Rio rancho. Thanks for a beautiful video the erial footage is amazing. U need to camp a night in jemez. Stay at the first camp site going north I believe it's the 4 spot before the town of jemez and after the convention center. Sorry I don't recall the name. It's 10.00 a day but the night skies are a must see. Also if u drive towards Los Alamos there is a campsite called something falls. Once again I apologize for not knowing the name but the hike is gorgeous. Beautiful area to visit for sure. Love your videos
I sure like your look with longer hair! handsome +++++
Hey Nate, Hi from Rhode Island
Wow believe it or not your camper looks comfortable. Didn't somebody give you a portable AC 2 do a review on I can't remember the is it ice cool or something like that that would cool that little cab oh like an ice box. Anyway have fun enjoy life
Thanks great video
Glad to see you could escape the heat. It’s been pretty brutal down here in Deming. Even the locals say this heat is unusual.
Another great video. Nice to see you exploring again. Will you be going back to the ocean for some surfing too?
Hopefully soon!
Thanks for another great video! I love videos like this one. Keep up the good work!
I love New Mexico, but I had not heard of these locations before. Bring on as many NM, CO and Az locations you can find! Super nice photos!
Just as i was typing you mentioned what i was going to type “ flash flooding “where is Shannon?
Look at your next comment.
I understand the privacy you are seeking in NW. If you can help me I'm in search of off grid county that easy with restrictions. If you don't mind tell me what county you in in NM? I been looking for a county that has opt out zoning. Thanks for your help
I'd take the camper more comfortable
👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah...no.
Is there any growth with Nate. Haven't tuned in lately. But from what I've watched I don't see personal moving forward. Same old stuff.
Thanks for showing us such an amazing spot, the United States is such a vast country and there is always something exciting around the next corner. It's just like old times having you back on the road and I'm looking forward to your new adventures.
This is a beautiful area, thanks for showing it to us.
Nice. Back on the road again! Let's go!
New Mexico the land of enchantment…
Bandelier N M is the coolest place in NM.
We drove up that road along the Guadalupe in our Element back in May. Stayed at Redondo Campground for 8 nights. Went into Valles Caldera and a bunch of other places. Hope you stopped in at Amanda's.
This format is perfect for you. Somewhat in the same style as SUV RVing (another channel I also like a lot).
Stunning Nate. Thank you. So pleased that you got out and enjoyed nature for a while. Catching up on videos gradually!! 😊 👋💌🙋🏼♀️🚐🌏
Hey Nate beautiful views. Thanks for the tour. Do you know the clearance inside the tunnels?
Thanks for sharing. Looks like a truck camper would make it?
Yeah, I think a truck camper would be OK! It is a pretty tight area though
I discovered your channel when it was more off grid living based. I’ll def be watching more with this travel format. Suvrv very much influenced my travel life and I’ve heard him say your vids were an influence on him. Looking forward to watching, cheers sir.
Thanks for highlighting one of the many geological gems of New Mexico
I've been to New Mexico a lot -but not there.... I'll get it on my list! Thanks. Joan
Your production value is top-notch, Nate. Keep up the great work! 👍
Loved the video! Looks like places I’ll need to add to the list 😊
Thanks Nate!!! Awesome as always!!!
Great “pictures”
Good job!!!!
Hope you don't miss San Antonio Hot Springs!
THAT road IS sketchy
A great start to a great road trip! Thanks for taking us along! Stay safe.
Camera doesn’t constitute “WE” so who is we? Gilman was also a vast land owner and owned paper mills which I worked at one back in the day, I haven’t seen your videos in a while so were is Shannon?
We, is us as his audience. We, is Nate and his home on wheels. Shannon is doing her thing. Nate is getting some time out self care. How relationships should be. Knowing that you can. The best kind of relationship. More should be able to feel that they can, but there's to much selfishness in this world!! Good on Shannon and Nate!! 👍👍👏👏
And, it's where, not were 😊🕊
