Indirect rarely used but if used no easy than it. I used to fetch table table data, where filter goes to Indirect to fetch table data.
FILTER(RANGE, INDIRECT(TABLE)&COLUMN 2)
Generally it is useful when you want to change input in the formula which is taken from a cell which itself redirect to some kind of range/data. In short INDIRECT is a formula which leads you to the data thru a cell which contain address to that...Like if we don't hardcode the table name in the formula then we have to use INDIRECT formula
