I have bragging rights for Southern University. When your Ancestors (3rd & 4th Cousins) Dr.'s J. S. Clark and F. G. Clark were the Founder and Presidents of this Great and Awesome Institute in Baton Rouge Louisiana. In my hometown of Los Angeles.

This is why in my opinion they are the best band so fresh so clean n clear. From gospel rnb pop rock hip hop they can do it all. That's excellence. My grandmother would've been shouting.
Ummm...this actually sounded like they didn't really know it that well. they sounded unsure. Notice how when he asked for more they were almost scared to project. that's not southern at ALL. its like they were scared because they were in a church or something IDK. but the other performances from this week were much better.

@@DevaJones03 no instrumentation is key, take off a b tone and 2 mellos and add 4 trumpets 3 trombones and that's it. The forte was perfect parts and were clean but this my opinion.
@@Xae.9x47 didnt say blasting....thats the part about southern i hate the most....they use blasting as if power means superiority when it doesnt. also....uhhhhh if thats what you are known for loudness why change just because you are in a church? jesus see you when you not in that church. but you might be the type that feels like you can do whatever you want outside the church like jesus only sees you in the church when thats not true AT ALL. however you clearly cant hear what unsure is....playing confidently and loud are two different things but i understand most southern fans dont know the difference.
@@demondrerandolph2021 what instruments you have plays a part in being confident in what you're playing???? never heard of that. you either know the music and what the dynamics should be or you dont.
I'm so proud of them! As a Louisianian, my heart hurts open with so much love and pride for these young men and women. I love all of the HBCUs and we must support them in any way possible.

Wonderful. WonderFull. WONDER-FULL!!! I am a natural-born and raised southern Woman. I spent approximately 3 years singing in the Brookinaires Gospel Choir, under the superb, wonderful, expert direction of the Great Joe Westmoreland. I spent many hours and evenings and mornings and afternoons in this sanctuary, in the choir loft, anywhere I was needed. I am so grateful to have found this video. And yes, I surely did now Brother Grundy. StayWell, Everyone. StayWell

Viveca Su fan 4 life hey me and u should have been in that audience. i'm not trying to change the subject but i absolutely love ncat and the golden delight this season. I really never took the time to watch them in the past but when they played alcorn a couple weeks ago that halftime show was very good and GD's routine was awesome. There stand routines are one of a kind as well. Check em out in the zero and fifth quarters.
