Anyone know the dimensions of the bolt at the top left of the shroud? Length, thread diameter? I know it’s self tapping. I’m trying to find one in Lowe’s but I’m having a hard time. I’d rather not order it. I really don’t wanna wait for it to come in the mail. I know it’s called d6x40 but I have no idea what that is in standard/metric. Never heard of d6.

Pro Tip: If you're a true BMW enthusiast, instead of replacing the fan shroud, get yourself an electric fan. Catastrophic failure of BMW cheapo plastic fan blades can take out your fan shroud, radiator and a host of other really expensive parts when they fail. An electric radiator fan cost might take your breath away but if you love your car, hey, it's only money go make some more!
