I can figure out melodies and chords on my own but when it comes to playing i cant come up with such interesting left hand patterns or do those runs in the right hand like you do!! I understand rythmic sense and all but playing as smoothly and without mistakes as you do is just impossible for me!! Ive been playing for ten years man!! I guess i just wasnt meant to be talented😞
Hey sophie, im literally on the same page as you. I got accepted in a kinda mainstream orchestra? of our school and i play the keyboard. A few months from now theyre gonna move me to a higher position, a principal keyboard. yet i still cant perform without having any mistakes whatsoever! But with this pressure against me I cant help but practice and practice since i dont want to let them down and I see improvements here and there as I go. Dont lose hope! Faith doesnt choose if we are talented or not, its the motivation within ourselves to continue the magic in our hands. I’m rooting for you :)))
