When I reviewed the Flagline harness I was not sure if I would like the harness. Was it safe for my dogs . The answer is Yes, I really like the Ruffwear Flagline Harness. The extra straps provide a secure harness my dog could not slip out of. The material is soft and fits nicely on the greyhound shape. Well padded for comfort. The Webmaster harness is designed like the Flagline . If you are looking for a heavier harness. Please Subscribe to Diamond Dog Training and ring the bell. Thank you . Joyce

Do you think an x small, or a small would be a better fit for a 24 lb. IG?

You nailed it about ruffwear webmaster being too bulky. Never thought of using two clips GREAT idea, thx

Thank you, I really liked the light weight Flagline. It seemed made perfect for an IG.

Yes, 2 clips helps the dog that is pulling to learn to walk on a loose leash.

I notice that she is not as small as most of the Italian greyhound. About the same size as my Italian greyhound… so I always have hard times trying to find some leash for his size. What is her weight or chest circumference? Just for comparing. Thank you very much. Very useful video. Cheers from Brazil

I have a rescue iggy and found the webmaster too chunky for him so the flagline looks like a great option for him, thank you for posting! :)

Hi Joyce! Thank you always for your informative videos. I am a new dog owner and have appreciated how through and caring you are in producing these. Wondering if this harness could be good for a slender shiba inu/jindo mix? Thank you, and excited to be a new subscriber!

Hi Hannah, Thank you for subscribing. The ruffwear Flagline harness is great for slender dogs. The Ruffwear webmaster harness is also good if your dog is stronger and larger. Check out the video comparing the ruffwear Flagline harness and the Ruffwear Webmaster Harness. you will see Jindo mix wearing the Webmaster harness. Really depends on your dog's weight as to which harness I would recommend. hope the video helps you decide. Both harness are great. Let me know if you have more questions. Joyce

@@DiamondDogTraining Sounds good. She's strong but relatively slender. We're going to try out the Flagline since I ordered it - thanks for your advice and I'll keep that in mind for the Webmaster!

Let me know how you like the Flagline harness. Slender body should be perfect for Flagline Harness.

I have a short hair Border Collie (Pippa) and I might end up buying the flagline for her as well. A lot of harnesses don't fit due to the fact of her being small in front and racy built and her backline ain't straight. The K9 harness was horrible on her and I'm unable to get a decent fit with this.
I have a 'no escape' harness currently which fits a lot better and will not 'move all over the place' though I'm not happy with the front placement of this harness which is placed a little to tight behind her front paws. For my Border Collie, your video made the choice easier to go for 'the Flagline' ( although much more epensive then the ). I hope the S is not too big for her.
Pippa is not an escape artist but she's a young dog who is active and bouncy on the leash

i hope the flagline harness works for you. i find the 2nd strap makes the harness safe and escape proof because it holds around the chest and belly. Let me know if the harness works for Pippa. joyce

@@DiamondDogTraining Thank you for the reaction. 😊I bought the Flagline harness and the Anny X just to see which I liked better but I found the Anny X having a better fit for Pippa and I liked the straps more..The Flagline is going to be returned..

Anny X harness. I will keep it in mind for the future. Thank you

My girl is 15 lb and she wears Flagline XX Small. Most IGs tend to fit the xxs in my experience and the whippets are fitting in the XS and occasionally the S. It's a great harness.

Man it's hard to get a harness for my iggy. He's 6 months old but from what I can see, maybe 1/3 of the size of Niky D:

Hi Stanley, yes, Nicky is a big girl. Have you tried the Ruffwear Flagline xx small. That harness is very small and has the additional strap to prevent slipping out of the harness. Let me know. Joyce

@@DiamondDogTraining Hi! Actually, we measured Pixel and his chest was just a bit over 13" which is the minimum for the smallest web master! we bought it through amazon after being told we could return it if it didn't fit, but it fit him perfectly! We got a flagline and webmaster in the same size, both fit, but the flagline had the issue that the lower support was uncomfortably close to his privates, so we were afraid he'd wet it!
He's loving the webmaster, the materials are absolutely top notch!

If the dog pulls does this harness chock the dog

    • @DiamondDogTraining
      @DiamondDogTraining  Год назад +1

When the dog pulls, I do stop walking. My newest video will help you to stop pulling. But to answer your question, the Ruffwear harness is padded around the neck and does not choke the dog. Thank you. Joyce

The RuffWear Front Range harness does not fit as far back. It does not have the 2nd strap at the belly. Also the Ruff Wear Webmaster may work for your puppy. Hope this helps. how old is your puppy. is he still growing quickly. Thank you, Joyce.
