Nice video . Can you tell me how much temp and air are you using for removing the chip and what are you using for cleaning (which liquid) and which flux ?
Not all tools are the same, so you need to find some non working boards and test it for yourself, once you figure out how your tools work you will be unstoppable :)
Thanks for another good video. Questions: From your experience, is it good to replace the old audio chip with a new one or is it OK to reball it only? What is the price in Germany for a such audio repair?
@@AymanTheRepairTech Ayman so i found some cases even with 4 jumpers fail after few days and i replace ic than and no problems works fine. Because i found the cases where is no losed c12 but no mic function. So you think audio ic can’t fail? I am confused how it can work for short period of time and fail, is not about soldering skill because i soldering every day.
It seems you use hight temperature to solder it back so quick . Could be instructive to give the temp use with your jbc. But it seems it’s a secret of all RUclips video. Me I use 140 preheated and 380c with 60 airflow on my quick. Or remove it with solder iron
I have an iPhone7. Turns out it has an audio IC problem (mic won't work, even after replacement) but O...M...G, this is next level shit right here. How does one even learn this stuff. This micro soldering is fascinating.

yes 4 jumpers and check for weak d12 :D great video thx ! I like to use drop meathod for removal
@Cormac Pyper Why you check dropped d12 you have 3 more connections if you lose d12, no point.

Most of the time the chip is fine to reuse.
