Gone from "This is NOT a start up, it's just an app for me" to "Coding a start up" haha. Good job any way.
Hey man, I absolutely adore your videos! They sparked a creative fire in me and motivated me to launch my own RUclips channel, where I've begun sharing my own content.
Thank you! Nice job, happy to hear you got started!
Please provide your RUclips channel info
Hey man. Thanks for these videos. One thing I really appreciate about you filming your process. It’s not often that devs on RUclips talk about how long it takes to get something working.
Thank you for the comment man, I really appreciate it! Glad to hear that you like the way I make the videos!
Quite an interesting video. You adhere to such a tight schedule throughout the day. What an awesome boat that you have. I can't wait until you get it in the water. As far as that foccacia bread that you baked, it seemed like I could almost smell how scrumptous it was. Just keep on grinding and see how far you can get building your app. Can't wait for your next YT upload!🎉😊😊
Thanks man! Yeah it tends to end up being quite tight but also like on this day I don’t usually get everything done, nor done on time 😅
Yes I will try to remember to film when it’s time to launch the boat! In about a month
I aspire to be anything like this man
Thank you for the videos!
Thank you for the comment! I appreciate that!
Loving the app series! Keep it going!
you should have a feature in the app that allows you to set timers that go until a relative time (e.g. current 1:23pm and you set a timer for 3:00pm, it automatically starts a 1:37:00 timer). I think this would be super useful
That’s 100% what my plan is! Glad to hear someone else wants this!
Also for a simple app you can stick to using Cubits, they're a little easier to undersand I think, and less boilerplate etc.
What was your experience like using editing machine? I noticed youre on the website and am curious if you use it now
Bloc pattern, streams. Dart as some serious punch.
Thanks for returning to old coding style videos.
I really like your series!
Im using the bloc pattern for about a year now and I really feel you! Understanding the blocs and how to use the events and stuff properly is not that easy.
If you need any help with it, hit me up.
nice vid, keep it up! And I like that boat =)
Thank you! Haha nice
Great video Kalle Hallden. Because of you i started my own channel 👏
Good video, highly enjoyed. Wish you the best.
Hey Halladen, love your videos keep it up. What notebook are you using to write down your ideas?

Thank you so much

Love your videos! Been subscribed for years and loving this series. My gf and I are sat with our dinner and watching 😅
That’s actually really cool to hear man! That’s really nice to know that my videos can be shared in that way, I appreciate that a ton!
i hade a small 13 fod danish build speedboad with a 40 hp yamaha and spearfished the whole fjord for some years over 2000 km in the speed boat best free time
Nice videos, but you need a polarizer filter for your camera for the car sequences, it will kill the reflections on the windshield
I do have one, but the glare was too strong, I think the windshield on my car is too horizontal. I’m going to try at nighttime with a light in the car to see if that’s better🤔
Can u suggest react or flutter for mobile apps. What do you really prefer even though u use flutter.
I use flutter because that’s what I really prefer🤔 so not sure what you mean?
@@Hallden_ thanks. no i prefer mean. is there are any specific reason to use flutter.?actually i started to learn react native. I have been watching ur videos for years even before i start to coding.
Hi sir, Can you share your foccacia recipe? That'd be awesome
I did on my latest instagram post :)
Keep on going!
I shall
what does it cost for the server? and amazing.
I’m using a local sql database
The app will only store text so it will basically take up no space on the device, so I figured there’s no real need to make this into an app where users have to sign up for an account
Looks tasty, you've got to share the recipe 😋
I did in my last instagram post ;)
@@Hallden_ nice, I'll try it out
I'm slightly confused. If you are going to plan your day at the start of your day and largely adhere to those timings, you already know how long you will spend on each activity. A time tracker just seems like another thing to remember to do. The main value you could draw from this would be to add an analytical feature so that you can analyse your activity on each task over a longer time period, e.g., how long you coded for in a week to see if you hit your target, and then make changes based on this analysis. Let me know if I'm missing something. I'm working on a web app that is slightly different to this but in a similar space. Love the videos.
Yes you are exactly correct and that is precisely what the idea is with the app. To be able to get an overview of where the time was spent.
Would you recommended flutter over react native / expo? If so why?
Yes but only because Flutter is the only thing I’ve used. So my opinion here isn’t very valid, not sure what the general consensus is among devs who’ve tried both🤔
@@Hallden_ to bad would be Nice to know, so hard to Google the question cause it's kinda 50/50 😊 don't know what way to go down for my app dev
I really like flutter. I could see running with it. Android studio... No way I would work with that 40 hours a week 😂😂😂.
you are good at making videos maybe you should consider doing course on that !
He's great at making videos, he's good at design, he's good at productivity type content. But I can't see how programming fits in. Its obvious from the content, that programming is not the focus. I am still getting the feeling that Kalle is one of those people, for whom programming isn't all that fun. He really likes the idea of it and the life style that some people associate with it, but the actual programming part seems like a chore to him.
Don't you think you're scheduling too much? it can make you feel guilty if you don't deliver. I also make lists, but weekly, but I have learned not to be angry with myself when I postpone something to the next week. I'm asking out of curiosity how it works for you
Could be, I do find it hard to find the balance with how much to schedule into one day😅
i bet the bread would tast much better from that pizza oven hehe :D
Ooooosh nice vlog dude!
Thanks man! Really appreciate that coming from you! Watched a fair few of your videos lately, I really like them and they give me some inspiration for making my own videos!
@@Hallden_ hell yeah! ❤️
❤ Focaccia 🫓 😂
