I would say to keep and use the M860 Cracker since you're able to do more damage over time, and since it has more penetration, that would mean you are able to take down the enemies more faster especially the more beefy mutants compared to Toz-34 where it could take longer due to lower penetration.
Yeah, I know it's objectively better. Voice acting and immersive and everything. But I prefer the English because then I don't have the pause. The video to try to read what they're saying because I'm dyslexic AF LOL
From a lets' play perspective, non-english voices for an english audience means we have to have our eyes glued to the screen to read what is being said, just for the sake of keeping up with the story. For some, that may be fine, for others, not so much as it prevents doing anything else, or heavy pausing to read. Not everyone can enjoy a show with subtitles, especially in the anime genre, and this is why, too much of your attention is taken out of the action to read the story.
@@Falaxuper Incorrect, you dont have to speak it to appreciate it. Sub voice actors in japanese do way better for voicing characters than the english ones. Not hating on them because some arent that bad sounding but most dont put effort into really expressing as the character they play as, not even mentioning pronouncing words horribly. It don't take much to listen to them say it before doing the line yourself.
@@windchiller6951 Yeah well, you're in the wrong here. I can't appreciate the voice acting either, especially since I can't tell what they're saying. Why? Because I have to read, which means that I'm no longer paying attention to the voices. I can't both read and listen at the same time, that is impossible. At least for me and most others. Therefore, yes, you can't actually appreciate the voice acting unless you understand the language.
I’m not sure if you guys figured it out, but in some “stalker” books that I’ve read when I was young there was similar “flying glass shards” anomaly. And it is possible to SLOWLY walk through it without damaging yourself or gear, which makes sense if you think about it. 🦋
Economy balance is definitely a little janky right now, but it will probably be a good while yet before devs address it. There is a mod, however, that slows weapon degradation, which should give you more time to make money between repairs if it gets too frustrating as it currently is.
7:20 More specifically, a Pyrogeist. Still within the same family of mutants, of course. 25:33 This building looked very familiar to me and for a bit I couldn't figure out why. It did hit me eventually, this looks like same kind of building the Bandits made a headquarters in the Dark Valley. Which I've have gone and infiltrated a few times in STALKER: Anomaly. Considering that Dark Valley is right next to the Garbage, I wonder if this is meant to be that exact same building and that the two locations were merged for STALKER 2? 42:46 That looks to be Merc insignia.
I have mixed feelings on the voice-over. While the english one is a bit goofy and damages the atmosphere, and the native one is far better quality and immersive, I'd prefer to have the english version. Sometimes I watch on my phone and can't easily read the text, or I watch on the side while I do other things on my PC. And having you read out the text is pretty awkward. When I buy this game I'll definitely use the native voices, but for LP purposes I think you should keep it on english.
Am a fan of this series, and understand people wanting you to use the Ukrainian voices - but makes it too hard to read the translated dialogue on a small screen. Had to turn this off early as not following what was happening in the story.
Yeah, I often do other stuff while watching the video in the background. So I have to keep my eyes locked on the video or miss out on interactions and plot details now.
I'm so happy to see that you're enjoying this game as much as we, your audience, are enjoying it, despite the bugs and performance issues. I have been a fan of the STALKER games since I was a child and you have no idea how happy I got when you played Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat. I'm excited to see you playing more of this game because it really is a STALKER game. I was so afraid that it was going to be a soulless sequel like many other games but I'm really happy that they made a proper sequel. And the devs need all the support they can get because of the things that happened in Ukraine. I hope you guys have an awesome night (or whatever time it is where you live) 🫡
I agree the Ukrainian voice acting is better. However, I have to read to understand what’s being said, and I usually watch on a second monitor while working. (I need something to ignore)
I don't really like the Ukrainian voice acting tbh it's not very immersive for me cause I can't understand Ukrainian so it doesn't really work for me like when you hear a language you understand it's a lot easier to get immersed vs hearing one you can't Also a lot of the time I listen your videos while I'm drawing so I either just have to put up with not understanding what's being said or turn away from my art to read subtitles.

never get bored with how Librarian enjoys the game, chill and progressive without whining about the game's jankyness
the particle effects from the erupting anomaly look so nice
I'm thankful for you librar

Not to mention that you can only enjoy 'good voice acting' only if you speak the language.
Agreed

Yeah I'm gonna give this one a miss. I'm not watching this video like it's a movie. It's on my 2nd monitor while I do other stuff.

Ngl I actually liked the protagonist stalker´s voice in english, but regardless I love your gameplay.

The game just got a big patch today so it should fix those repair costs and money problems, as well as making some of the mutants less tanky.
Yay, more S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2🎉🎉🎉
The language change makes listening to your video while I work on projects difficult.
Yo pinkblack released 2 more maps called ucomplex and otherside. Someone please tell Librarian!

Damn first sentence in English translated drastically wrong, he's basically saying "i have no sympathy..."
The only downside of the UR dub is that i unable to understand what they are saying. So i have to look at the subtitles
yeah
I can’t believe there isn’t binoculars, hopefully they add one with an update. Feel like that’s a huge tool missing from the game.
maybe you should use english voice acting, its quite hard for english speakers especially with smaller screens etc to read subtitles
Their is a game called hiden deep it is like the game carrion that you played it has the same art style and pixels it is like reverse of carrion

Ukrainian has a lot more loan words than I thought it did, huh.
internationalisms moment
also the game subtitles are way too tiny...
Suggestion: There's a guitar that you can equip and play. I'm not sure exactly where it was tho, somewhere in zalisya i think.
Think it's in the bedroom in Hamsters shop, maybe.
Nice

I like English better, it’s easier to pick up vocal queues like sarcasm and stuff, also I like to listen more than read
Nah, love the Ukrainian’s voice acting but is too much to follow on mobile

PLEASE play Silent Hill 2 remake
Вот это умственные упражнения.
Придётся мне переводить с двух языков на лету.
Na I cant stan the Ukraine voice acting. No offense but I think I'm just going to skip the dialogue and guess what the mission is.
Keep the ukranian
Deffo keep the ukrainian dialogue
