Great video, like always Stan! Timm's truck 'The Penalty Box' is a 1958 Land Rover Series I 88". 88" refers to the wheelbase.
My truck is a 1953 Land Rover Series I 80". My 80" is the same wheelbase as the Jeep MB and early CJs.

Thanks Jesse. I’m sure I heard all that at sometime during the week, but I only can remember lyrics to old rock songs and which one of my wheels has left hand threads. 😋

This video has to be doctored, everyone knows that you need at least 37 inch tires, lockers, rock lights and a dash full of rubber ducks to do any form of off roading. 😂

I will admit, all these rigs did have locking differentials, but no lifts, and they all were running stock leaf springs and stock size (or optional stock size) skinny 16" tires. They are such a blast to wheel !!

Love the old Land Rovers! I just wish they were as cheap and available as Willys are, I'd love to have one.

Up to very recently, the old series I (1948-1958) like these were actually cheaper than similar vintage Jeeps !! I used to drag them home for a couple hundred bucks each in the 1980's and 1990's I ended up getting totally into them and the parts were actually cheaper, but you had to wait for them to ship from England. These were totally blue collar vehicles not related to todays "Land Rover" Uggghhh..... Mines' the grey one. I'm a blue collar guy that was lucky to get into them cheap back in the day. Parts are still very reasonable out of England.

Another fantastic video of good old fashioned 4wheeling❤. I love the classic 4x4s showing that you don’t need a flash new truck to get outdoors and have some fun with you mates. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see the next installment, and to check out all your old videos!!

This is what Off Road Jeeping is! I grew up in a '54 Flat Fender Willy's. Little 4 banger Chevy engine, had to pull the bars out of the front hub, knock 'em around to line up with the lock in hub slots. We put some 16 ply Front tires from one of the tractors. cross cut the ribs a bit to have some "lugs". bullet proof little rig. Miss the heck out of her.

Great video as always. Those LR's did very well. The one with the soft top must have 300' of cable on that winch. 😅

Love this trail. I remember when we did it a few years back and the water was much higher. Cost me several wheel bearings but it was a blast! Look forward to doing it again.

We were on the west rim run with your group. It was nice meeting and chatting with a few of you. Great group.
We also did part of RG on Friday. Came down from the falls to where the creek cut thru the rock, then back up.
