Thanks, Neon. Apologies for the late replay, I don't really post on this channel anymore and don't get notified of comments. I've moved out of London (down in Surrey now) and haven't had the drone out for years :( I'm definitely tempted by one of the new DJI's though. Would love a Mavic, but the bank balance will probably only stretch to a Spark.
Hi, I am about to do a video on Richmond Park with my electric unicycle Z10, do you mind if I use some help from your footage in my video with the respective reference/credits posted on the video and description? Thanks Ricardo
Hi Ricardo. Sorry for the late reply. I'm no longer getting notifications from this channel. By all means use as much of the footage as you need if it's still required. Thanks for asking 👍🏻
Thanks mate. This was taken two years ago. I didn't have any problems at the time, but I've heard they have tightened up on it. I think they may new now be banned in the Park. I don't think it's against the law (yet). The rules are pretty hazy at the moment. You can't fly in built up areas, around people , but there are no exact distance, or at least last time I checked. Maybe go up early in the morning, and stay off the tracks and popular walking trails. If you do get pulled just plead ignorance. I'm sure it'll be fine. I only wish I'd had my gimble at the time. They make such a difference with image stability and quality.
It’s allowed in Richmond Park - but only if the pilot remains at the base point in the Flying Field, and the drone does not range far from the base point. Why so restrictive? Because Richmond Park is the most protected urban park in the UK, a National Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, a Special Area of Conservation, and a Royal Park.
Wow, love this footage of Richmond Park! This is exactly what I have been looking for to use this in an upcoming Kickstarter video I am creating. Would you be willing to allow me to use around 5-10 seconds of footage from this if I credit you at the end of the video? If so do you have a full 4K res version of this you could send me? I could pay you a small fee if required. You can also email me on davewalby@gmail.com if you would like to discuss. Thanks very much :) Dave.
Hi Dave. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I no longer have alerts from this channel. I'm not sure if I still have the footage but can have a look if you still need it? Also I think I shot this on 1080p.
@@tomburton8239 "The flying of a drone becomes a prohibited act once a constable has asked a person to stop flying it or if a notice is displayed in a park stating it is a prohibited act. Enforcement of Parks Regulations is a matter for the Metropolitan Police. " Funnily enough I saw police fairly regular driving through the park. They often set up speed traps for cars. They even came over and we're interested in the drone, and never once asked me to stop. There were no signs in Richmond Park at the time.
Love it mate, am dead jealous, I am rubbish at this cinematic stuff
Cheers, Buddy. Meh, wack it in slow-mo and chuck a letterbox on it and you're golden :)
Awesome stuff mate. Just moved here recently and own a phantom. Would love to meet up for a flight

cool, what drone do you use?
Cheers. It's a Dji F450 with a GoPro Hero 3 black edition crudely mounted. Hence the freaky angles :(
Beautifully shot, but you should have used the original music track from inception, rather than a cover version.

Ricardo, be careful. This is illegal video, shot in breach of Royal Park regulations.
Great video. How did you get away with it. Keep meaning to go and do it but been told it's against the law. Always see police in there

They are banned in the park . There are notices around .
Unsurprising that the authorise have shut down that particular avenue of pleasure. If in doubt, ban it!
no they are allowed in the flying field!

Careful Dave, this is illegal video - shot in breach of Royal Park regulations.
@@tomburton8239 This was shot over 4 years ago. There we no specific park regulations back then.
Barr You mean the Royal Parks and Other Open Spaces Regulations 1997. I.e. 23 years ago?
