  • A newer Sigma elevator in a big cafe along the hillside of Kintamani's main road with a stunning view of the mountain. The cafe was opened just two years ago and consists of five floors; L3 and L2 being the main dining area while L1 has nothing apart from a small lounge room and toilets. Not sure what's on L4 as it was locked, probably a private area. As this is on a hill, the floor numbering is reversed like you're in a basement.
    The elevator is a Sigma Solon Premium (formerly Solon NV), one of Sigma's two MRL models and the most common one found in Indonesia. My first time ever riding a Solon Premium. And just like nearly all newer Sigma models from the 2010s this one was made in China, since OTIS Korea who owns Sigma had closed its good ol' Changwon factory and shifted its production over to China. Perhaps the most interesting feature here is the glass-like COP inside with touch sensitive buttons which is quite rare for Sigma. LOPs outside aren't too special, just a simple metal panel with cheap buttons and boring segmented indicator. Car interior looks very elegant with a combination of wood and black painted door. Quality wise it runs well despite having been made in China. Lastly, the doors are very smooth and almost quiet, must be a different door operator than the Solon NV one. Overall I think the Solon Premium is much better than Solon NV in terms of smoothness and quietness; I don't know for you guys but this is based on my impression. Still this is a fairly nice elevator even though it may look like a generic. And the place is definitely worth the visit if you ever visit Kintamani.

    So the lift goes from L4 to GF, does that mean:
    L = Lower level (ex: L6)
    U = Upper level (ex: U6)
    Is this correct? Pls correct for mistakes

      L could also referred as "lower" due to the position of the building, but in general it simply means "level".
