Basically they film the week the Countdown to the Crown episode premiers. They film the scenario of each of the top 3 queens winning. So no one at the filming knows who won. It's not until the following week when they just add in whoever Mama Ru wants to win.

Every contestant signs non-disclosure agreements along with their contracts to appear, which is why they must remain sequestered throughout filming. IE they cannot talk about the show or say who the winner is, or where anyone places until the episode premieres on television. That is how every reality show works.. There is no predetermined winner for the contest or any of the challenges; nor is there any predetermined order in which the contestants are eliminated (otherwise it would not be a contest, it would be a scripted how like the Kardashians).. SO yes, the top 3 queens do know who the winner is, however are barred by contract to talk about it..
