Such an emotional episode. When Craig said he'd never thought his dog would outlive him, I just lost it. I agree with the others who said this episode of The Flush was their favorite, it was mine too.

This was more than just a hunt. It was two friends sharing and cementing what may be a final walk in the fields together with their dogs. One would be so blessed to have a friend to spend those days of one's final season with. Craig's expression says it all - just soak it in with full appreciation as much as he can while he can. It is neither defeat nor regret I see in his eyes. It is pure gratitude to have such rich experiences in his life. Thanks for taking us along.

That probably has to be one of the best shows of The Flush I’ve seen. Such diversity of birds. Brings tears to my eyes seeing this particular show. So many friends over the years lost to cancer. Love chatting with Tyler. Great guy and a great place to hunt. See you in the fall. God willing.

God Bless you Craig. This is the best episode I've watched. I had tears in my eyes because I can relate. After letting life get in the way of hunting for 20 years I suffered a heart attack at 46 yrs old 4 1/2 years ago. Really puts things in perspective and I haven't missed a season since and just bought my first bird dog. Life is too short to sit back and watch. Prayers up for you and your family.

This was an amazing episode! It really shows you not to take life for granted. I've been fighting a brain tumor since I was 13 years old, now I'm 27. You enjoy the time that you have and treat every day like it could be your last. Hunting brings you together with friends, family, and your dog! I know hunting and my dog has helped me. Best of luck to Craig and his fight! I hope he is still with us and had a good year hunting.

Heavy episode tonight. My oldest son passed away seven years ago at 2.5 years old. It wasn't cancer but an accident that took him. Though, that whole summer before he passed he was my little fishing buddy. We lived near a lake and he'd walk with me up to a 2 mile round trip to fish with Daddy. He never made it to the fields with me.
A couple years ago my father and I were just starting a pheasant hunt when he remarked that he's sad David will never join us. It's the only time he's mentioned him.
    Prayers sent up.

I just found your channel and have enjoyed the videos. This one made my eyes sweat, a lot. Most of us take it for granted that we will have another season or even another day. (James 4:15)
I hate to ask, but can we get an update on Craig?
