Connor has misconstrued 90s with the 00s. And garnt is right, people started skating because of jackass and surrounding culture, not jackass and games got popular because of skating
GTA SA was the PS2 game everyboby talked about all the time back in the day. I was like in the 2nd grade playing it with my older cousins I loved every single second of it

This is so painful to watch. The reason shadow of the colossus is such a legendary game is because it's the first game made with an indie philosophy, it's so creative and original. And also there's no quick time events like in God of war, you can control the character while in the huge set piece like in Uncharted 2 a generation later.
Kingdom hearts 2 deserves to be higher on that list! (& more respect from them)
Kingdom Hearts does have some very dumb writing, but KH2 has one of the best action-RPG combat systems ever made, it deserves to be in the top PS2 games lists all day long Joey lol.
My uncle no longer plays video games, but KH2 is the one exception on his still hooked up ps2. I can’t play it because of the story, but the gameplay is so much fun! Apparently my reactions to the reaction commands are the same he and my dad had when they originally played it.
i think shadow of the colossus is really awesome as a concept and the vibe is still immaculate but it needs an actually fun and intuitive and unique video game mechanics for it to actually become easy to recommend to people nowadays
I think Shadow of the Colossus was a great game, purely because of the atmosphere and the whole feeling of desperation throughout the entire game. The gameplay is intentionally clunky which usually works well, but sometimes it gets a bit absurd and annoying.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 is peak sports game

GTA definitely outsold tony hawk 3 but personally, tony hawk 3 and guitar hero 3 were my favorites because they influence what music i listen to.
THPS4 is the most underrated and it’s the best in my opinion

From what I understand from my friends growing up Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 is the most user friendly skate game but everyone loves is Skate 3.

lol. Skating was not huge in the 90s. You would be made fun of and bullied if you did it. It didn’t become popular again till the early 00s.
Never played KH2 or Disgaea games so they shit on them. KH2 was the most fun action rpg on ps2, even after a decade of other KH games being released it is still a superior action game. Disgaea is a srpg where you can put an insane amount of hours and endlessly grind, that's so valuable to gamers back then.
