Most "oh he's shirtless" moments tend to be so corny for me and maybe I'll chuckle a little at their reactions but the fitting room scene in Last Twilight had me blushing so hard and my heart beating so fast that I felt like I was in Mhok's place, I had to take a lap🏃🏻♀ it's the little touches, their eyes and smiles, good god

P Aof is honestly the king of making casual intimacy in his series than a really steamy scene, like it's sooooo good. I love the script, I love the camera chemistry 🥰🥰, like why am I getting all blushy with a hand holding scene, forehead kiss, looks... Like Aof just gets the romance the same way I do and I respect him for that. He's work is also always growing and we love to see that too

It's crazy how much I love Last Twilight. We've had so many intimate moments and it's only been 4 episodes! I had the same thought that so much seems to happen in each episode where most BLs just drag things so they can fill up an hour. I loved Bad Buddy but P'Aof has really outdone himself with this one. His attention to detail is crazy in this show. I am beyond excited for the new episode tomorrow! ❤

This finally pushed me to start watching Vice Versa because I typically don't watch body swap tropes. But if it's as good as Last twilight the I'm definitely missing on something good.
Also Last Twilight, is so breathtakingly beautiful. JimmySea does a very beautiful job. And it's the first show i watched multiple times a week. I can't wait for tomorrow's episode. The music, the cinematography, the acting, the story line all are 10/10 for me.
VICE VERSA is a unique take on body switch; the episodic themes and romance are everything.

I agree Last twilight is one of the best BL’s for gmmtv lastly they have been putting bad writing bls out there . I almost lost hope until I saw Last twilight.
I didn’t care about vice versa honestly not gonna lie. Because I didn’t care about the actors. But I fell in love with LT Jimmy and Sea are great, plot is great, acting and writing is great,you don’t cringe in every episode.
Edit: I need to rewatch Vice versa. I think I was skipping and not paying attention that much because actors were new.

@@lynnzajicek that wasn't what i meant, but glad to have created some inadvertent comedy for you. I just meant I thought the robovoice was talking faster than normal. But typically playing a video at x2 speed doesn't make the speech unintelligible, so maybe the robovoice really was accelerated?
@@johnmaster3748 Yes, I am inclined to believe that the robo voice was accelerated because normally even when you fast forward it you can still understand the words but they’re just talking very very fast! This was much more than even Alvin and the chipmunks! 🐿️ 😂

As someone who thinks the three most important qualities to evaluate a BL [sit-com, drama, k-drama, film, novel, etc.] are 1) story, 2) story, and 3) story, with character arcs, casting, directing, acting, cinematography and score all following along in some order in the wake of the narrative, this essay has me believing that "casual intimacy" between actors during non-romantic moments is an underrated aspect of what makes some BL series shine where others fall flat. The essay doesn't quite persuade me that Vice Versa was a great series, nor am I sold on the future brilliance of this one [we agree 4/12 episodes aired is premature to judge]; however, I thought the comparison of other series' leads to JimmySea's casual comfort with one another did illustrate [another reason] why those series fell flat. At the very least, the casual intimacy outlined here has, indeed, elevated the first four episodes of Last Twilight.
I really enjoyed Vice Versa for the Jimmy/Sea chemistry and enjoyed the story even though it was less on Alternative Universe than I would have liked. I LOVED the Our Sky 2 episodes with them! They had not only chemistry but a great story to go with it!

Your comments are my favorite thing. Always so insightful and such a joy to read. The story is definitely the most crucial factor in my enjoyment of media. If the base isn’t solid, nothing else will not make up for that loss! The “casual intimacy” is the thing that decides the 4 or 5 star rating. Even if every other aspect is great, without those little moments, i feel like something is lacking. Like i need that 1 extra emotional element to push me over the edge and fall head over heals in love.

Omg, i hadn't even watched and i gave like to the video 🥹🫶🏻, i could spend entire days watching VV and LT analysis, it's just like you read my mind, jimmysea's shows have been incredible, their couples are the definition of romance, i have no doubt about it. As you said, the characters are so well written, they are individuals who came in separate ways, met each other and eventually fell in love, yet, that didn't make them lose their identity as happens frequently in other shows. And their love is just, isn't even unreal for me, it's the right one, i feel like tearing up after writing this ldjsisjsksj 🥲. I usually don't rewatch series no matter how much i love them, but vice versa and now last twilight are the exceptions in my case 🥹, I'm so happy last twilight it's getting the recognition that deserves as well as jimmysea, and i can see that vice versa is finally heading to that path as well, our queen, you always deserved the best 😭.
