I just started playing this game, this is the hardest game on easy I have ever played. I just wanted to enjoy the game but I'm gonna call it quits on this one.
"You need to do enough damage to the boss to remove the shields on the objective" *Ok sounds reasonable* "there's another useless enemy that will try to stop you from attacking the boss" *sounds like a good challenge* "that enemy will target you 90% with unblockable abilities and a undodgable laser aimbot" *what? Why?* "The boss you actually need to attack will block 85% of your main attacks" *okay...ill take my time to use my abilities to damage him* "you will have less than 2 minutes to kill them both" *please stop* "the other enemy will trap you into a bubble and 2 shot you" *please...* "there will not be any saves during that" *JUST KILL ME*
In this boss fight you need to damage coward ass Crossbones enough for him to drop the drone shields while being harrased by Dildoman's 1 hit kill attacks that you need to mimic Bruce Lee and flow like water to avoid (he also has a chance to lock you in a dome before you can destroy the drones, which will completly halt you WHILE the timer is still going down), and if you don't manage to destroy the drones in time you get an automatic game over and have to restart at a checkpoint that is BEFORE the elevator that leads to the cutscene (you may also have to wait through a chunk of said cutscene for the game to load) and there are also NO checkpoints in between the stages of the boss so if you die, you'll have to withstand all of hell at once over and over again until you manage to finally survive this bullshit long enough to kill the boss, but even if you get to the 2nd stage, you need to kill the boss faster than Crossbitch can say "lol fuk dat I'm out" or you will run out of time and get a game over. Whoever developed this fight should be fired immediately.
I swear the person who designed the boss fight should be fired asap and boycotted from the industry. This is not how you make a good boss fight with random attacks that just lock onto you and insta kill you. Also there are no checkpoints so if you fail in the very end you gotta do it all over again.

I thought people might’ve enjoyed it but I guess they didn’t like it either, and that’s a good thing. Also, what’s worse is that the boss just keeps healing itself on his final phase. And being real, this game was designed to be a multiplayer experience, the store mode is a feature. So if you don’t have a great build for your level 50 characters the boss battle will be almost impossible to beat. Besides a lot of people play alone and bought the game for the story mode. So basically you are playing with your extremely weak black panther and the extremely weak AI team. The boos is literally imposible to beat that way. This was bad videogame design, the story mode is designed for players who have been playing online and building the team and if you play the story mode you barely scratch the characters skill trees. The easy mode should’ve consider people who don’t play multiplayer. So you have to be level 50, then play the DLCs. I can assure you your characters have a great build, that’s why you enjoyed this 😉

The good bosses r the one that r annoying and challenging the fact that u had to kinda multitask between the bosses and the cannons in the air is good the timer made it challenging because it was something to worry about other than getting killed by the boss because if time runs out u lose

After reading these comments, I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one raging with this fight. I’m glad I beat it on my second try and I agree that they need to work on the boss fights in this game. I especially hated the Sonic Disruption mechanic because you can barely see anything and everything can just spam push and pull you everywhere

Crossbones having a flaming head here and using a laser coming out of his face at 4:53 on the right side of the screen is a reference to the comics (Thunderbolts 150). He gains powers temporarily (the flaming head and laser coming out of his face) and uses it to fight Cap for that particular comic run. Although, as to how Crossbones got his powers here is different.
In one of the more recent Thunderbolts stories (the Luke Cage run) Crossbones got exposed to Terrigen and got fire breath powers, but it burns his face up when he uses it. He ended up looking like the Red Skull temporarily. I guess this version is a reference to that comic?

I was saying this same thing before I beat it a few hours ago. The way I defeated him was by unlocking some ranged attack skills with my skill points, which makes the daggers have more impact and they are thrown more rapidly.
Guys focus on dodging the red attacks and parry the yellow. When parry his guard breaks and you can attack. Don't go all out button mashing let him attack then dodge/parry. Have fun👍
This whole level of this dlc was a pain, why mix full on hordes, platforming, and a boss that is a TIMED battle, and not to mention those sonic blinder enemies. Holy fuck they were irritating.
FINALLY BEAT THIS MOTHERFUCKER! The best strategy is to basically ignore Crossbones and not give Klaue any room to shoot at you, stay close hitting him non stop and using all the special moves, after a few tries it will work
The final fight is really dumb in my opinion, they need to make it challenging, not broken. It feels like he is locked on to me and it’s impossible to win.
For anyone still doing the level I found a way where during his second faze you can circle around him while throwing daggers and he just keeps doing the rocket move I was able to beat him easily after doing it for a bit
This boss battle was pissing me tf off. Like no way why give me a dodge button if i CANT DODGE IT. That sonic attack enemy shit was worse than the boring ass robots. I failed once right. Restarted got past crossbones and started fighting klaue by myself. And then suddenly i just failed the mission. I didnt die or anything. That just made me stop playing. How do i defeat a boss under a time limit, and when i hit him his health hardly goes down. Already brung up how i couldnt dodge. Besides this and (to me) the pointless Overpowered/Vibranium & Sound Offense/Defense mechanics, I thought it was a solid expansion. I wish Chris Judge used "his own" voice and didn't try to speak in such a high register, though...
Christopher judges voice sounds fine. If he added to much of his natural bass to the character it would be hard to understand what tchalla said with a rich African ascent. If I was to speak with an ascent it would be hard because I too have a deep voice.
My tip: use a different character than Black Panther. I used Thor with level 25 and for the 3rd try I could win the fight ( I've could have won for the 1st try if I'd have been more skillful).
Happened to me too. I was playing with my friend and the first time there was no cutscene, second time the cutscene started right after the timer ran out and it still failed me. This game is bogus.

I nearly threw my tv out the fucking window, this level took me 4 hours and like 15 deaths, 45 minutes of me shouting and sticking my middle finger up at the tv, and trying again only for me to die again, I honestly nearly uninstalled probably one of the better games I have played in a while
Wow, Just once again! Square Enix had brought upon more disappointment in this game! Not only did they keeping updating the game and kept making it worse by bringing some new awful outfits and kept recoloring them, they’ve made it 50x worse and frustrating by making this DLC. Biggest mistake ever! And worse, they even made different enemies in this DLC 100x stronger than the heroes in this game, which makes it unfair. I bet that it requires at least 200 power to beat the final level. Hell, after all that hype for the new DLC of black Panther, it went downhill now when this final level existed and the difficulty challenge was unscalable. Not to mention that the final boss was a dark souls type and kept healing itself after crossbones left. OUT OF NOWHERE OF COURSE! But while crossbones was still there, he never healed. But when he left, klaws kept healing himself and there was no more health pots left or whatever that they’re called. This is an Avengers game! Not a Dark Souls game! Or Bloodborne, or Sekiro, Or Demon’s Souls! And don’t get me started on the fighting mechanics though! They were bullshit! It’s like it was bring-your-kid-to-work day and the dev who made this boss fight, have left their children to mess around with the fight and reprogrammed the boss to make him unstoppable and “Cannot be defeated.” I did liked the story though, but the gameplay of black Panther was absolute garbage! That is not how Black Panther fights and how to make a decent boss fight. And another thing to point out: Those fucking crawlers are so annoying. Including the bigger ones, nothing worse than robotic spiders and the heavier ones that cannot be stunned like the enemies in this game. I am never purchasing another game or an update version or anything from Square Enix ever again!
I just completed this after a few tries and I can agree with a lot of people when I say this mission was absolutely disgraceful. I understand it’s a boss fight and it’s gotta be challenging but the fight itself was shocking, why did Crossbones have to be there? Defeating Klaue was hard enough, then right when you think you’ve finished the mission, you haven’t. Still gotta 1v1 Klaue without Crossbones and he’s even harder to deal with then. Whoever did these boss fights in this game should get the sack literally. Not one good boss fight has come from this game except the fight with Maestro Hulk.
I didn't know people struggled with this fight. I mean sure it was difficult but it really only took me one try. Try leveling up your Black Panther and getting better gear.
If you find this really hard you can turn in to a different character I turned in to iron man and did it way quicker the only problem is you have to do the hole level over again but it's much easier and quicker

This was the first game that beat me I just gave up on it I could not for the life of me beat this damn boss. I died easily 20 something times and then I just threw my hands up and said "fuck it I'm done" I had to quit cause this was the game that made me so close to raging and breaking something. Still to this day it bothers me that I couldn't beat this and even before the boss fight all the other enemies I felt were just too overpowered.
They really need to redesign this game or at least the HUD. The screen just has too much going on that it takes you out the game a lot, or reminds you of a mobile phone game. There’s no reason we should be seeing the other Avenger’s health bars, no reason at all it doesn’t nothing for us. We shouldn’t see our objective after 10-20 seconds on screen after it first appears, just health bar for you & your special moves together in one corner, if fighting a boss then their health too and that’s it.

This boss fight annoys my entire existence I always get him down to one bar of life and then end up dying that energy bubble he keeps trapping me in

For anyone still doing the level I found a way where during his second faze you can circle around him while throwing daggers and he just keeps doing the rocket move I was able to beat him easily after doing it for a bit
This boss battle was pissing me tf off. Like no way why give me a dodge button if i CANT DODGE IT. That sonic attack enemy shit was worse than the boring ass robots.
I failed once right. Restarted got past crossbones and started fighting klaue by myself. And then suddenly i just failed the mission. I didnt die or anything. That just made me stop playing. How do i defeat a boss under a time limit, and when i hit him his health hardly goes down. Already brung up how i couldnt dodge. Man i hate complaining because i really liked this game but this dlc pissed me off a lot. A lot of pros and cons with this dlc

Besides this and (to me) the pointless Overpowered/Vibranium & Sound Offense/Defense mechanics, I thought it was a solid expansion. I wish Chris Judge used "his own" voice and didn't try to speak in such a high register, though...

Christopher judges voice sounds fine. If he added to much of his natural bass to the character it would be hard to understand what tchalla said with a rich African ascent. If I was to speak with an ascent it would be hard because I too have a deep voice.

My tip: use a different character than Black Panther. I used Thor with level 25 and for the 3rd try I could win the fight ( I've could have won for the 1st try if I'd have been more skillful).

Happened to me too. I was playing with my friend and the first time there was no cutscene, second time the cutscene started right after the timer ran out and it still failed me. This game is bogus.

I nearly threw my tv out the fucking window, this level took me 4 hours and like 15 deaths, 45 minutes of me shouting and sticking my middle finger up at the tv, and trying again only for me to die again, I honestly nearly uninstalled probably one of the better games I have played in a while

Wow, Just once again! Square Enix had brought upon more disappointment in this game! Not only did they keeping updating the game and kept making it worse by bringing some new awful outfits and kept recoloring them, they’ve made it 50x worse and frustrating by making this DLC. Biggest mistake ever! And worse, they even made different enemies in this DLC 100x stronger than the heroes in this game, which makes it unfair. I bet that it requires at least 200 power to beat the final level. Hell, after all that hype for the new DLC of black Panther, it went downhill now when this final level existed and the difficulty challenge was unscalable. Not to mention that the final boss was a dark souls type and kept healing itself after crossbones left. OUT OF NOWHERE OF COURSE! But while crossbones was still there, he never healed. But when he left, klaws kept healing himself and there was no more health pots left or whatever that they’re called. This is an Avengers game! Not a Dark Souls game! Or Bloodborne, or Sekiro, Or Demon’s Souls!
And don’t get me started on the fighting mechanics though! They were bullshit! It’s like it was bring-your-kid-to-work day and the dev who made this boss fight, have left their children to mess around with the fight and reprogrammed the boss to make him unstoppable and “Cannot be defeated.” I did liked the story though, but the gameplay of black Panther was absolute garbage! That is not how Black Panther fights and how to make a decent boss fight. And another thing to point out: Those fucking crawlers are so annoying. Including the bigger ones, nothing worse than robotic spiders and the heavier ones that cannot be stunned like the enemies in this game. I am never purchasing another game or an update version or anything from Square Enix ever again!
They can hear you. Keep pressuring them. We need to make them make improvements on Avengers.

I just completed this after a few tries and I can agree with a lot of people when I say this mission was absolutely disgraceful. I understand it’s a boss fight and it’s gotta be challenging but the fight itself was shocking, why did Crossbones have to be there? Defeating Klaue was hard enough, then right when you think you’ve finished the mission, you haven’t. Still gotta 1v1 Klaue without Crossbones and he’s even harder to deal with then. Whoever did these boss fights in this game should get the sack literally. Not one good boss fight has come from this game except the fight with Maestro Hulk.
I cannot even finish the boss level because after the crossbones cut scene the game won't let anyone move but the boss! It's driving me crazy!

If you find this really hard you can turn in to a different character I turned in to iron man and did it way quicker the only problem is you have to do the hole level over again but it's much easier and quicker

This was the first game that beat me I just gave up on it I could not for the life of me beat this damn boss. I died easily 20 something times and then I just threw my hands up and said "fuck it I'm done" I had to quit cause this was the game that made me so close to raging and breaking something. Still to this day it bothers me that I couldn't beat this and even before the boss fight all the other enemies I felt were just too overpowered.
They really need to redesign this game or at least the HUD. The screen just has too much going on that it takes you out the game a lot, or reminds you of a mobile phone game. There’s no reason we should be seeing the other Avenger’s health bars, no reason at all it doesn’t nothing for us. We shouldn’t see our objective after 10-20 seconds on screen after it first appears, just health bar for you & your special moves together in one corner, if fighting a boss then their health too and that’s it.
I give up. Playing right now and I discovered there's no checkpoint If you fall.
