I have been diagnosed with Acute Bronchitis but I have no cough. I do have tightness in chest and spitting up a lot of white/clear mucus.
Coughing does not occur in all cases
I had pneumonia 2 years ago & I didn't have much coughing but the sound was different with sharp chest pain & bringing up rusty mucus.
Ya me to my chest is tight and when I exhale hard I can hear a gurgle.

I feel like everyone adds that extra syllable these days, kind of like how so many people say "fentanOL" instead of fentanyl. I don't know who started this trend but it caught on like wildfire.

Hello I just find out that I have Acute Bronchitis today
It bothers me when doctors prescribe medicine that they know won’t help. My doctor prescribed me promethazine-dm along with an oral steroid for bronchitis. The cough syrup made me so drowsy, but didn’t help the cough at all so I was up all night exhausted and coughing. I have 4 kids to take care of and was so out of it in the morning. I would have rather she been honest with me than have me pay for something useless that did more harm than good.
