this is such an honor to be mentioned by you.. i was rated 1000+ before subbing to you. in 3-4 months i am 1200+ now trying to reach 1300 this month. thank you so much. keep going strong agadmator!!
Thank you so much Mr agadmator I'm not a good chess player but I've I've seen so many games on Queen's gambit declined on your channel, I always win on lichess when my opponent allowed me to play this line. Your games certainly improved my capability.
It always amazes me how these players can calculate so many moves in advance. For me personally I struggle to picture the board and pieces in my mind after like 5-6 moves
I'm really excited for the Grenke Chess Open. Since finding your channel and consuming tons of your videos I have come to know the players, their games and I've really had fun watching your coverage. I've been posting about it on Twitter and Facebook and I think I've become a chess fanboy! Can't wait for the first matches!! Keep up the great work!
Wow that explanations were just insane. I have come across many of these situations but could convert into wins even though I was a piece up. That's because I am what I am and Capablanca is Capabanca
10:12 Why he would exchange the rook and keep a bishop? In fact, I think it would be even faster instead of recapture the rook, to push h7 and even sacrifice your rook for a Queen
Rxc7 is a much simpler way to win. h7 inmediatly allows Rxc1 and after H8=Q something like Rc3 when Qd8+ is answered by Bc7. It may still be winning for black but the other line is way, way better, and more straight-forward
I can't remember which game in "my 60 memorable games" it was, but after his opponent resigned he says "A bitter disappointment... " not quite the same as being disappointed in failure to make the best move, but ...
“He sets a very deadly trap for Casablanca or does he? I mean he does, he just doesn’t know he does.” It’s like when I’m playing a game and I think “I’ll just give check here” and then the game says checkmate. I’m just sitting there like “oh ok. That’s even better than check!”

Just in case, Capa had a 15 moves preparation, I wonder if he ever got to use it. Marshall did it, with a disastrous result. Sometimes I take the pound just for the thrill of it. Most time than not ends up pretty bad.
I love "Hoodie" guys! Makes me feel that if these unknowns can play a good game against the greats that I might have a chance of one day having a good game with a GM. (A good game would be enough).
#suggestion Hello , My Friend I Really Enjoy Your Analyzing For Chess , And I Really Want To Seggest That If You Anlayzing A Move OR Other Way To Play That You Can Make An Effect ( Black & White ) On Board OR Showing Blink Work Like ( ANALYZING . . . ) Because Somtimes Wr Forget That Is Analyzing And Thank You Very Much For Exploring Games And Make People Love More Chess ♡
Hardly a deadly trap. After taking the knight, black's impending doom could come on either side of the board. He would either lose due to insufficient king safety, or from white's passed pawns. Black gave up way too much for a tiny one pawn lead on that exchange.
After watching the the grenke chess classics impression it feels like magnus will fulfill his dream of playing Bobby Fischer at his peak (But it's not the real one but the German one and for those of you doesn't know search "Vincent Keymer Agadmator" on RUclips
Lol. I actually played a game a long time ago when i was a kid, and my opponent resigned. And I asked him why he resigned, we could have played on so I could crush him. And the parents watching said i was rude lol. Capablanca shows you why u should keep playing even with a piece less.
A rook endgame 2 pawns up is decisive enough for me. After Bxc7 Rc6! puts black in zugzwang. So black plays Rh8 Rxc7 Rxh6 Rxf7 or even Rc6 trapping black's king, white should be winning easily in both cases
According to online "expert" parrots, Capablanca knew no opening theory. I actually think he did know a fair bit of opening theory. How did he get to so many middle and end games? Just plain luck?

As soon as he said that I paused the video to read the comments 😁. Agad is awesome.
You are awesome Agad👍
The trap was that he won Capablanca's knight.
*Vsauce music starts playing*

Nice I'm 1530 in a year and 3 months thanks to agadmator
I stopped the video at the beginning to get my hoodie. Thx for the reminder ;)

Hoodie guy never wins :(
he is a winner in our hearts
That's why he is a hoody guy
If they had been winners they wouldn't be a hoodie guy but well known champs like capablanca.
Old Seadog There is one hoodie guy vs hoodie guy. I think it’s in his sorcery series.
There have been some hoodie guys who have won
Wish Capablanca's matches could never finish. He is just an absolute genius.
Me too
Calculating that pawnstorm was absolutely amazing... Chapeau, Señor Capablanca!
If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants -- Isaac Newton 1675. Jose Raul Capablanca was a Chess giant!
" the loser should be awarded the money " lol
brilliancy at its finest :)
ITS 40 degrees C here in Burma agadmator but I’m wearing hooodie to honor the hoodie guy!
Rakra good
When you're so strong that you know the best line to lose in for your opponent! 😂😂
Lose with dignity, Hoodie guy.

I had already watched the game between Tal and Karoly before the video was uploaded.
I am an excellent subscriber! HEHE:D
I've never heard Schroeder pronounced as "Shredder" before. But in this case, Schroeder got shredded.
Wow that explanations were just insane. I have come across many of these situations but could convert into wins even though I was a piece up. That's because I am what I am and Capablanca is Capabanca
Capablanca is a legend. I really enjoy watching his games. Please show us more games of him!
6:45 Bill Hearthstone? Who should that be?
Hartston. English International Master. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hartston
@@davebogdon It should be pronounced Hartston not Hartstone. Hard to show in text, but easy to work out.
@@ubertoaster99 Yeah. That was my take.
It seems things are going well for Capablanca. But any updates on Tarrasch's book? Would you like to update us on its Tracking info?

That Queen on E5!!!!
Looks like my games.
Sweet! Mato and agadmator both do a Capa game on the same day!
Capablanca will be the world champion.
Whatever it takes.

Had to pause the video, in order to get a hoodie, can't miss out on further enjoying the video
Captures, captures, and a new sofa
5:40 for the nice rook lift 👌
Capablanca is such a gangsta. He beats you then shows you how he could have beat you better. Damn.

no there's rook to b7

I dig the new couch.
At 9:27, could white not move Qb8, then black blocks with Rb7 and white checks with Qd8 and pick up blacks queen?
TY Agadmator!!
Nice quote
The "oe" in "Schroeder" is actually pronounced like "euh" in french or "ö" in german
What the person above means to say is, you pronounce it like you would pronounce the vowel in "Sir".

Another win by goat
Happy Birthday James
Love the vids hope I can make it to the tournament

5:30 why didn't Capablanca Castle? Can anyone please explain the reason?
I was thinking the same but then I thought Capablanca does plan on pushing those pawns so castling will not make sense then.
@@abdullaalmosalami okay I got it 😅 thanks
it's the end game, you play with your king in the end game
Nice couch dude 👍
Leela won the computer chess championship, could you cover this event please?
8:29 what if white moves queen to b8
Also found that move. After thinking about it though, rook moves b7 and Queen has to retreat.

1:13 Of course they had to move the game to Yale as New York was in ruins after the previous match of Capablanca Vs Lord Kang. P
Waiting for this
5:53 was that a rook quake?
Both lines looked equally brilliant to me, lol.
Your saga games are the best!! How about capablanca's championship games?
