I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Will you please do more "you dont need that" videos? I really need to see those. I have a problem. I built a huge luxury/ high end makeup collection and skincare routine. Huge! I want it all. I keep telling myself never pay full price for permanent products!! I spent way too much money this year. Im 55 & got back into beauty this year and wow what a difference!!!!! Agreed! I was just telling my daughter ( I bought her the Bailey Serien/Melt eye products) makeup is so much better and more fun than it used to be. I hated Maybelline as a teen, liked some Avon and really enjoyed Mary Kay... but NOW. SO much delicious makeup! I am going to be 60 this summer... and I am here to play. 😊

Hi. I'm in a similar position. I tell myself: any skincare I buy now, will go into the queue, and wait 4 - 12 months to be opened. By when the actives may be less effective. So I have to finish what I have, before I'm allowing myself to buy any more.
On makeup, I resisted a palette at 50% off, which I thought I genuinely needed, by pulling out the ones I already have, and realising by now I could basically duplicate it.
Also reminding myself that 30 Euros for an item might be a 'bargain', but how would I have felt about 30 Euros for such an item, before I watched beauty YT! (Answer: scandalised.)

Everytime I want to buy something I puthow much it costs in a seperate account and then write it down and how much it would cost. Then wait for a sale and see if it's on sale and if I still want it. Save loads as by the time it's on sale something else new is out!

Happy New Year. I've been looking everywhere for the Tom Ford Primer. It has been out of stock everywhere in US and on their website. I finally emailed Tom Ford customer service and was notified they were discontinuing the product!!!!!!! I felt like crying!!!! I'm on the hunt for a new mattifying primer, but I fear no one product will be able to live up to the "tom ford" standard!!!

The whole collab with Nikki was *chef’s kiss! 🤌 The foundation brush and the concealer brush are my 2 faves from the collection. Also, I believe that they will be sold individually as of mid to late January!
Hehehe I always break out in song too when I say something in a song. 😂 The other day my mom, dad and I were going somewhere, dad was driving, I was in the backseat. He come up to a yellow traffic light and hesitated if he wanted to go or stop, and I started singing “should I stay or should I go noooow” 😂 (I thought it was funny anyway 🤪🤷🏻♀️)
And I have walked past that Fan Fest mascara at Sephora probably 10 times and I keep saying “naaa I don’t need it, I’ll just wait.” Then I get home and regret it so much, because I want it so bad. I have wanted it since it came out. Next time I’m just going to buy the damn thing. Lol 😂
On the RMS note… I bought a bundle on sale that included a new blush shade, a brush, and their little pot concealer. Well I can’t believe how good that little pot concealer is!! No fuss, I’m in my mid 40s it always looks so good. I can’t even believe it, I don’t buy pot concealers. I need those lipsticks now ❤

I did not want to order or love the I Need a Nude Palette. I don’t need it, but in a moment of weakness, I ordered it. I really enjoy it and use it in combination with other palettes in my collection. One product that is new to me and not new on the market is The Bobbi Brown colour corrector. I enjoy it more than my Pat McGrath, and I never thought that would happen.

I’m still quietly agog over the Bond no9 Gramercy Park lipstick you wore the other day! My skintone is extremely close to yours and I swatched this lipstick, I think, over 8 years ago, and it’d haunted me ever since, but seeing it in you sealed the deal - I bought the refill of it and I’m so excited. I need a nude was also my number one makeup product this year with a small caveat…. I rearranged 2 of the shades with 2 other shades from 2 other palettes …. I took out vauge and whit and put them in a separate color story palette, that i have also rearranged 😆, then i replaced them in the i need a nude palette with blend from glam and nurture from my dream ….. it’s my perfect everyday neutral day to night palette

Couldn't agree more with your comments on the Chanel highlighters. There was no way I was buying that stark white shade and the other two were far too deep for my skin tone, so I guess I saved some money, but it was still a disappointment!

You are so right about the Chanel highlighter! I was dying to get the white fair shade for my fair skin but the reviews were terrible! So went with the Cle de Peu highlighter in the mermaid limited edition packaging because I love mermaids and it is still fine for my skin tone even though it’s a bit frosty- when blended out it looks perfect. ❤ love your channel and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Yes on the Prada foundation -- which was on sale at Selfridges btw -- gives me the best shade ever - I'm in love. The Chanel highlighter in Pink is lovey as a blush for us super fair types btw

I tried the Laura MErcier undereye secret powder. I found it so much more aging than the Pat McGrath one

I love the Prada foundation. I wish the coverage was a bit fuller, but it is still very good. it hasn't knocked Tom Ford traceless soft matte off the top spot as HG, but it is still a very nice foundation for daytime
I have only bought 1 mini ND pallet. I needed a blue cause I have brown eyes and I can wear that shade.

Great video and you look beautiful as always. Two recent loves in 2023 - the Rare Beauty liquid luminizer. I stumbled upon these by accident in sephora - I am fair skinned and got three shades, which I am having fun trying. The formula is super smooth and not glittery. Today I mixed Mesmerize with the Nars soft matte foundation. Unreal! Beautiful! Made the foundation glide on the skin and now is a soft satin with just a subtle glow. I am new to Rare beauty and now I am eager to try more. 2) the other recent find/purchase: the hourglass slanted brush that you use. There is really nothing else like it. So many uses but I have been using the brush for more runny/liquid foundations. Magic! Wishing a great start to 2024. ❤

I agree with you about the lightest and whitest of the Chanel highlighters. I mean WHY! I would have bought it, but when looking at it online I thought it would be far too glittery, and one you'd be able to see a mile off. For a mere stripling of a 20 year old perhaps, but not at my age noooo 😲!

Happy New Year! I'm addicted to that Chanel Fantaisie blush. But, if I want a similar effect in a warmer color, because the shimmer is more golden, I use the Emozione blush from Valentino. Different formula than the others from that brand. Similar effect to the Chanel. Don't know if it's 2022 or 2023. Do you think those RMS lipsticks would feather on those of us that have that problem? 💚
HAPPY NEW YEAR Charlotte and EVERYONE! Much love, health and amazing new projets! This said, I like Prada but still, I find the smell is bad and the colour is super neutral for me as a yellow golden warm tone skin. I way more prefer terracota from guerlain for my skin type. As for my new other holly grale, I absolutely LOVE Chanel new concealer. I am 50 years old and this is the only oneI need fo life ! As well, Nude palette from ND is our holly grale to all of us womans!

Hi Charlotte. I hope you can review the new le beiges. I like Channel and I buy into the new release and limited mostly all the time. I bought the two leaf embossed blushes in the fall and was very disapointed in the formula and performance. I never use them and they were so expensive. Did anyone else find them to be a dud?
