Agreed! I was just telling my daughter ( I bought her the Bailey Serien/Melt eye products) makeup is so much better and more fun than it used to be. I hated Maybelline as a teen, liked some Avon and really enjoyed Mary Kay... but NOW. SO much delicious makeup! I am going to be 60 this summer... and I am here to play. 😊
Hi. I'm in a similar position. I tell myself: any skincare I buy now, will go into the queue, and wait 4 - 12 months to be opened. By when the actives may be less effective. So I have to finish what I have, before I'm allowing myself to buy any more. On makeup, I resisted a palette at 50% off, which I thought I genuinely needed, by pulling out the ones I already have, and realising by now I could basically duplicate it. Also reminding myself that 30 Euros for an item might be a 'bargain', but how would I have felt about 30 Euros for such an item, before I watched beauty YT! (Answer: scandalised.) Hope this helps, and wishing you much continued enjoyment with what you have. I love how my skin and face look, with the changes I made in the past 18 months. Best wishes.
Everytime I want to buy something I puthow much it costs in a seperate account and then write it down and how much it would cost. Then wait for a sale and see if it's on sale and if I still want it. Save loads as by the time it's on sale something else new is out!
Happy New Year. I've been looking everywhere for the Tom Ford Primer. It has been out of stock everywhere in US and on their website. I finally emailed Tom Ford customer service and was notified they were discontinuing the product!!!!!!! I felt like crying!!!! I'm on the hunt for a new mattifying primer, but I fear no one product will be able to live up to the "tom ford" standard!!!

On the RMS note… I bought a bundle on sale that included a new blush shade, a brush, and their little pot concealer. Well I can’t believe how good that little pot concealer is!! No fuss, I’m in my mid 40s it always looks so good. I can’t even believe it, I don’t buy pot concealers. I need those lipsticks now ❤

I did not want to order or love the I Need a Nude Palette. I don’t need it, but in a moment of weakness, I ordered it. I really enjoy it and use it in combination with other palettes in my collection. One product that is new to me and not new on the market is The Bobbi Brown colour corrector. I enjoy it more than my Pat McGrath, and I never thought that would happen.
I need a nude was also my number one makeup product this year with a small caveat…. I rearranged 2 of the shades with 2 other shades from 2 other palettes …. I took out vauge and whit and put them in a separate color story palette, that i have also rearranged 😆, then i replaced them in the i need a nude palette with blend from glam and nurture from my dream ….. it’s my perfect everyday neutral day to night palette

Great video and you look beautiful as always. Two recent loves in 2023 - the Rare Beauty liquid luminizer. I stumbled upon these by accident in sephora - I am fair skinned and got three shades, which I am having fun trying. The formula is super smooth and not glittery. Today I mixed Mesmerize with the Nars soft matte foundation. Unreal! Beautiful! Made the foundation glide on the skin and now is a soft satin with just a subtle glow. I am new to Rare beauty and now I am eager to try more. 2) the other recent find/purchase: the hourglass slanted brush that you use. There is really nothing else like it. So many uses but I have been using the brush for more runny/liquid foundations. Magic! Wishing a great start to 2024. ❤

I love the Prada foundation. I wish the coverage was a bit fuller, but it is still very good. it hasn't knocked Tom Ford traceless soft matte off the top spot as HG, but it is still a very nice foundation for daytime

So went with the Cle de Peu highlighter in the mermaid limited edition packaging because I love mermaids and it is still fine for my skin tone even though it’s a bit frosty- when blended out it looks perfect. ❤ love your channel and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As well, Nude palette from ND is our holly grale to all of us womans!

Different formula than the others from that brand. Similar effect to the Chanel. Don't know if it's 2022 or 2023. Do you think those RMS lipsticks would feather on those of us that have that problem? 💚

I bought the two leaf embossed blushes in the fall and was very disapointed in the formula and performance. I never use them and they were so expensive. Did anyone else find them to be a dud?
