Xianyun wins cuz she can be used in both ground and elevation exploration. She also is an anemo so u only need 1 more anemo to get the anemo resonance.

Both. Yelan is good land running but in mountain place Xianyun better climbing or gliding.

I measured it correctly and Xianyun is slightly better (for distance) if you time right the casting of the skills (to utilize the cooldown reduction).
