About Designer Mark Monterroso
A Los Angeles native, Mark Monterroso grew up in
Atwater Village and graduated with a degree in
Graphic Design. For the past eight years he has
worked as a designer leading an apparel team at
Disney's Creative Campus in Glendale where he
channeled his talent into creating this limited edition
Princess Jasmine doll.
Princess Jasmine was the first Disney Princess to
resonate with Mark because of her darker features.
He saw them as a reflection of himself. But it was not
Princess Jasmine's natural beauty-but her strong will
to make choices for herself-that made an impression.
Not to mention, he loves the Princess's quick wit and
humor, a trait he shares with the heroine.
The Disney Designer Collection is proud to introduce

Walt Disney Company. As inspiration for our Jasmine

Great review as always. I'm still debating about getting her. Jasmine is my favorite Disney princess. The look of this doll reminds me a little of the Arabian Lights Jasmine doll that Mattel put out in 1994.
Great review, this doll is stunning 😍 I’m looking forward to seeing Aurora (mostly because I love the new face mold) and Elsa. We always get Anna and Elsa in their movie accurate looks, I’m curious to see what they’ll do for them in the designer line.
Personally. I would love if Disney shocked us and included Sally in the collection.

tbh, at first, it doesn't look Arabian to me, I guess it looked more Chinese(idk 😅), maybe because of the colors. But it did remind me of her red outfit from the film too.
But, after rewatching this video, the colors reminded me of her Desert Moon dress from the 2019 live action film ✨
But I really appreciate seeing her in other colors. I'm excited to see what they did for the other princesses!

Wow. This is the best Disney doll in a long time
Once again. Thank you to the ones who had an issue with her because of you she wasn't sold out in 5 mins and I was able to buy her. She is absolutely stunning. Like I almost cried unboxing her. She is even more stunning in person and the attention to details FRIGGIN' AMAZING!! The artist behind her did an amazing job. She was worth every penny.
I just ordered her today, and I can't wait to get her- Jasmine is STUNNING! Her face mold (and skin tone) are PERFECTLY done! I am looking forward even more to what Disney is doing with Cinderella, Ariel, and Belle!
The more I look at this doll, the more I’m thinking about getting her sometime soon. ❤️
Saddle stands are nice for gowned dolls. She's beautiful and for the price point of some Barbie Signature.. she runs CIRCLES around Babs. Curious to see how they do Merida and Mulan.

I'm excited to see all princessess, especialy aurora and merida. Almost all of them have a beautifull new face mold, I hope disney give merida a new one too.

I think the box is gorgeous. I just wish they didn't have the flappy sides so it's easier to display it. For us in box collectors. I am way to nervous to open them up. I know I will end up destroying something lol.

Hi! These are sold on shopDisney.com and they have some designer and LE 16” dolls left but jasmine is already sold out on there, you can find her on eBay for pretty much retail price thou!
Purse is best part. Colors of the sunset 🌅 seems the color scheme. That gold leaf part is more than awkward tho. I don’t get it and it doesn’t seem to fit.

@@MmDisney200 I ended up getting her in the end and she’s 100 times better then what the pictures portray her as, I see what you mean. I don’t know if you might know but my doll came with a black dot on her nose and it’s aggravating the hell out of me 😔 what do you suggest to get rid out of it without damaging the doll ?
@@minajmyles2687 omg same thing has happened to me!! Put a tiny bit of acetone on a Qtip and rub it lighting on the nose, it will come off right away. Right after that put water on another qtip and wet the nose then dry. Make sure it’s a little bit of acetone and qtip is fry enough cuz if it’s too wet it will run into her face and damage her paint job.🙏🏽

I don't think Raya will be a Disney Princess, the movie was a commercial failure... I think the last doll of the collection will be Tinkerbell.
That’s wrong info that has been spread around. The movie was actually huge, the money wasn’t reported by DisneyPlus but she remained on the top at $30 and then she was #1 on iTunes. Once it became free, it’s still showing in the top 10 of Nielsen scans till today. She might not be added to the lineup, maybe she will. No idea but i wasn’t saying she will become official princess, just that she could still get a doll since she never got one. Tinkerbell would be super cute too, we shall see 👀
@@MmDisney200 nah it was a major fail. It came and went with no fan fair. It didn’t feel like a princess film and it was a mediocre movie.
