As a late 80's kid, I've seen lots of social changes. One thing that hasn't changed is that lots of young ppl tend to feel alone sometimes.. it's part of life at that age. It's's your brain's final stretch of growing into full maturity... Scientifically, your scull doesn't fully fuse till your 25 and that's when your brain is fully developed as well. The one thing that I've seen change tho is the increase of depression in young ppl. You can laugh and sneer all you want but social media is a huge contributing factor to this equation. We don't socialize like we used to. We stare at our phones all day, and believe everyone is doing better than us
...or that everyone is just as miserable as we are. We are social creatures by nature. Taking that real life social experience away will make us hate the world and ourselves.

Unfortunately, 10 years ago when I was 22, my world turned upside down and I became disabled. I cannot even begin to describe the frustration I feel when I genuinely NEED to dance the stress away for my own mental health, yet I can't.
I hope you can find something you can do that helps in a similar way that running helps you. I hope I do too.
