In this clip, Tonesa Welch opened up about her estranged husband getting out of prison after she had gotten into a relationship with Southwest T, and she added that she was always careful to avoid Harold when she would go to Detroit. However, someone she thought was her friend and confidant set her up after the friend got romantically involved with Harold. Tonesa explained how she avoided going in a bar after getting a bad vibe, but Harold beat her to her house, plowed into her car, and started beating her up. You can hear the full story above.

@UCuj0Xv4zk4dfmd7o-cXPWDQ where do you stay in a small town? In the 90s I'm pretty sure it was pretty easy even if you're at a night club to not have anyone know you're in town. Gotta notice a person, find a payphone to page someone, they have to recieve the page, find a land line or payphone to call said person back but only if it's a landline and stayed by the phone, recieve the message, if it's a club they never been to they gotta find directions etc. Just know shit like that was a lot easier to do then

Evidently even with all that if he wasn't looking for her she could've stayed low-key from others who weren't necessarily looking for her, but also don't want them to know she is in town. What I'm saying is it's very possible to do, maybe not the smartest thing, but very possible.

Luckily I had someone who had gone thru alot of what I was experiencing at the moment. So I could relate, that said I could have done something pretty awful had I not had a friend that moment. I've seen this play out most of my childhood even without the drugs. Prior to 2000 America did a horrible job of protecting women in abusive relationships in my hood the guy might be arrested and released the same day. But when the woman had enough and killed him in his sleep which was the only time she had an advantage, even with a documented history of abuse she would get serious prison time.

It's documented that he used to beat the crap outta her so her divorcing him isn't the problem, the problem was her starting a new relationship with one of his workers. She should've known better than to pull a stunt like that, she should've backed out the game and went and got with a guy with no ties to the organization.
