I just used it as a glue compressor to combine 3 different bass synths on a bass buss with heavy saturation. Everything came out great. The hold setting worked best to control the spikes. I ended up reading the official manual to isolate the issue and find that solution. Then just to double check I searched for videos on RUclips to see videos and comments on others experience. I like the plugin. The first time I used it, it was on a kick loop I created in Studio One I wasn't very impressed, but a couple years later, yesterday to be exact, I decided to give it another chance, spent hours playing with it, testing different settings and now I love it. I love it because I now have a good understanding on its pros and con and where it's best suited in a mix. If you position this tool right in a mix it SHINES!
Got this for free when I bought Elevate master bundle. I like free stuff, especially when it sounds like this. Can't fault this one and will be using it for color, no doubt.
Nice video - I did go to the site and downloaded the Acoustic Guitar - Quick AG - which is on sale for €19, this is a nice plugin very useful for €19. The Quick AG works fine in S1 5.1 but Royal gives a blank - so demo first
Hi! I received Royal compressor as a gift after buying another plug-in. Well, I don't know if I have to activate or not (I have the code number). I'm wondering why there is on the right of the plug-in, the button "Activate"; by pressing it a folder opens but can't be selected any license file. What is the purpose of that button?
I installed it today. You have to download the license from their website and then add it using the activate button. You go to the location where it's downloaded
