The tech agreed. .460 Rowland has actually been around for a long time. About 12 years ago I had a chance to shoot a MPA .460, basically a Mac-10 on steroids, it was a blast.
Definately need to use extra power magazine springs or you can double up a standard glock .45 13 round magazine spring. That takes care of the feeding problem. The slide is outrunning the spring. You may lose a round because of the tension but it makes the gun extremely reliable.
The cycling is faster on a 460 Rowland. You need higher power mag springs to push the next round up faster. After that you'll have no issue. It's no problem after putting in new mag springs from 460 Rowland.

Stronger magazine springs are recommended and even sold by the Rowland .460 people, it's possible Scott neglected to get those, in which case the magazine wouldn't always keep up with the slide. Other people report no cycling problems with their converted Glocks or FNX pistols.
Shouldn't pizza be fine as the heat of the stove destroys the allergenes (the things that cause the reaction)? At least that works for my allergy against apples.

@@kennethcounts5905 it would definitely make some interesting content, maybe a series on the 460 talking about the data that’s out there and the shortage of brass(1) then the alternative sources of brass that we discussed ( I had an in-depth conversation with technical support at Rowland and evidently it’s their position that anyone manufacturing 460 ammo is infringing on their patent like buffalo bore and underwood) I asked “ isn’t that a good thing to help popularize your product?” Especially since your ammo pricing is somewhat obscene! The tech agreed. (2) Finally, this caliber is getting a lot of advertising lately like military arms channel did a big drill down but nothing much on reloading or the counterfeit barrels out there, brass shortage etc. ( I think Starline is sending all the brass to the manufacturers ). Lots of material here for content.
I’m loving the collabs even if it’s just for the intro had me laughing my head off 😂😂😂
When Matt and Scott get together they make some of the FUNNIEST intro's, lol.
Hey Scott you should look up Zombie Go Boom because they have heads that simulate a zombie skull and they're stronger than a coconut
Well thats a sentence i never thought I'd read.
Out of context its a proper wtf...
"They have heads that simulate a zombie head and they're stronger than coconuts..."
I'm definitely checking that out
Finally a bigger channel doing a review of 460 Rowland! Been wanting that for years
.460 Rowland has actually been around for a long time. About 12 years ago I had a chance to shoot a MPA .460, basically a Mac-10 on steroids, it was a blast.
These intros are the highlight of my day. 🤣 I like how we are slowly getting back to the feud between these two.
Alright alright... I'm sold. Add to the NEED list. Side note, I think ketchup might make a decent body armor now.
demo ranch video idea
Yeah, you could just play dead
@@pidgeotguy3400 dang it you beat me to the punch
DO IT! The .460 Rowland is so much fun to shoot! You'll have a great time!
Ketchup and tomato sauce in general have some really interesting properties. They don't behave like water in the slightest.
Nothing gets me hyped up more than Scott shouting "It's watermelon time!" in slow motion.
You and your pops are the coolest duo. Can’t wait to have that kind of relationship with my lil dude when he’s grown.
Definately need to use extra power magazine springs or you can double up a standard glock .45 13 round magazine spring. That takes care of the feeding problem. The slide is outrunning the spring. You may lose a round because of the tension but it makes the gun extremely reliable.
Hey Scott how often do the seeds of all the watermelons you shoot end up “taking root” and growing on your range?
I’m expecting a nacho cheese tree to sprout any day now.
What about a gravy tree? Eggplant?
Don't whoosh me I get the joke but I don't think they would because he doesen't water them or anything obviously
The intros are fucking priceless as always! WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS SO GOOD LMFAO
You have to upgrade the magazine spring to make the Rowland cycle reliably, mine works flawlessly
The cycling is faster on a 460 Rowland. You need higher power mag springs to push the next round up faster. After that you'll have no issue. It's no problem after putting in new mag springs from 460 Rowland.
The intro might have been low on quality, but at least it got me to smile, never seen anything like it before, well done Scott
Love your content brother so happy to see you in good health again!
That intro!! Haha awesome!! Scott you always come up with the best intro🤣🤣
I absolutely love Scott and Matt's goofy intros 🤣 gives them that extra spice 🤌🏻
Best Bromance of 2021!!! It's like watching 'Stepbrothers' with guns!
" you're gonna blow your gun up and you don't want that to happen "
Ah I see, you speak from experience
i feel like this is gonna get up there with the likes. probably not long till it gets to over 1k. i speak from experience as well.
@@tarmy3619 ah, wise words
Hey Scott I know this might sound weird but I’ve always had really good results making my scars kinda blend in by trying to tan that area with sunlight. You’re looking really good and healed up great I’m sure your scars will blend themselves in a little more over time.
Scars are just medals of honor where them proud you survived by keeping a level head and having a big thumb so be proud of them
@@biggunshandguns3687. I agree he’s got nothing to be ashamed about he looks great and should definitely wear them with pride.
@@Evergreen1400 funny how my surgeon said the exact opposite. Cutaneous scars from scrapes and burns aren't the same as surgical scars from sewing up penetrating wounds.
@@biggunshandguns3687 1. They're not medals. Those are earned and presented.
2. A Medal of Honor is an achievement won in combat. Getting hurt from doing something incorrectly doesn't merit one.
3. You wear them where you get injured.
Words have meaning. When you use them incorrectly, they don't just lose those meanings. They become empty and hollow.
25 seconds ago and I'm once again one of the first people in line for the double dose of action.
Way to go lads 👏🏻
The Rowland round isn’t longer, the case is 1/16” longer but the bullet is seated 1/16” deeper. The longer case prevents loading in the 45ACP chamber while the same OAL allows the Rowland barrel to shoot 45 ACP, 45 super and one other that escapes me.
Best intro by far 🤣😭😭 Seriously you guys’ canners work and acting get better with each episode, and it’s like Christmas . You never know what the intro is going to be👊👍
So glad your doing well my brother 🙏
PUT A THUMB IN IT.
Lookin' good, man, energetic as ever, almost no trace of that accident left by now.
So this thing is basically the Warthog from Halo, right? Looks like a lot of fun to ride:-)
The solution to the ammo shortage: Produce guns and ammo that the average gun pleb will never hear of so we can still get some ammo.
.45 has been out everywhere around me for A LONG TIME. So long I considered getting a reloading kit only to find out they're not able to be shipped in my damn state...
0:30 reminds of everytime the writers had Budd Bundy in Married with children fall out of a window and used a doll, which was sooooo obvious it only made it funnier.
That pistol with the 460 round I love. It helps to fight off zombies like the terminator!
The hardcast and penetrator won't expand at all in a tomato can, so nearly zero pop.
You'd need hollowpoints for that.
Scott’s accent is hilarious. He can’t say Rowland. It’s “row”, like “row, row, row, your boat”. Not “row” like a big, loud fight… hey… wait a minute!!
You're right on the pronunciation. I caught that as well. He IS from Kentucky. Lol
Hey Scott, something really near and dear to my heart here, I hope you see this. Whenever I eat eggplant, in any style, all I taste is this acidic bitterness that feels like it's eating away the inside of my mouth. That's all, thank you for all you do in terms of eggplant education.
These intros with you 2 are just pure gold. 😂😂😂❤️
The thumbnail is perfect
I would like to see the 460 vs 10mm since you can actually find 10mm ammo
Try the 45 super, also check out alaskan ballistics. They did that already! Also chukes outdoor adventures! They did a lot of testing . But that 45 super take your 45 acp and gives it 10mm power
@@theknightswhosayyeet5185 Right on I will check em out!
Your TOTAL DISRESPECT of ANY meterial is soooooo inspiring! Great great, we'all love it
That Glock is definitely something special! It looks really cool but it keeps jamming lol!
Awesome vid as always Scott! Ketchup wasn't eventful but Grisco was totally something to repeat! 💕
Ps. Matt keep doing it, first he rammed Tactical T-Rex and now you xD! Loved the intro! Sadly it had consequences to the poor truck lmao
Stronger magazine springs are recommended and even sold by the Rowland .460 people, it's possible Scott neglected to get those, in which case the magazine wouldn't always keep up with the slide.
Other people report no cycling problems with their converted Glocks or FNX pistols.
From those of us who have the incredibly rare allergy to tomatoes, I just wanna say. Thanks for shooting some. RIP any of us who love pizza.
Shouldn't pizza be fine as the heat of the stove destroys the allergenes (the things that cause the reaction)? At least that works for my allergy against apples.
What about garlic cream sauce instead of tomato
“You just got jammed” cracks me up every time!
I have a 460 and if you haven't put in the higher power mag springs they will cause failures, also if you run 45 ACP through it without cleaning the chamber and switch to 460 afterwards. If you get the mag springs and clean the gun after 45 ACP firings it will run 100%
