Yes, I shocked myself for being this upset over lil E9 departing us and today is yet another very hard teary day for me. I am almost unable to watch any video. I know this will ease with time but now it is just simply way too raw to handle. God bless you Bella in what you do reporting and making vids for us novices to view and learn. Yes, angels do come in human form and believers know that. They are there when we need them but it takes a request for them to intervene. All of us that prayed or hoped counted as a special request to help this eaglet. We need a human face to identify this eaglet"s angel. Someone should really find out who he is and tell him how grateful thousands of people appreciate his courage. Climbing a high tree in the rain and severe wind for a tiny creatures is not just a job but "DEVOTION." God Bless him. If he is a dad, he must be a wonderful one.

*Press release from American Eagle Foundation* *"During the early evening on April 20th, the right leg of one of the two eaglets (DC4) became stuck in a hole in the stick* *rails of the nest. It was rescued from the nest and assessed by a veterinarian, whereupon agreement was reached that* *DC4 could be returned to the nest. It is with great pleasure we can report that DC4 was successfully returned on Friday,* *April 21. Soon after, the parents came back to the nest and the family was happily reunited"*

Awesome! I was very concerned that the nest might not support the weight of an adult human + the gear he was carrying, but it looked like MP & TFL did a great job building a strong nest. And it looked like the young 'uns are doing well. Thanks for sharing this!
Those long sad distress calls at the beginning from Mom (up to 0.58) were so painful to hear. I'm so grateful to all involved for the wonderful rescue and happy return of DC4. You are the most wonderful people for doing this.

I’d like that job when I was younger,loved to climb trees,roof tops,height didn’t bother me,that has to be the most exciting thing to be that close to an eaglet🤗🤗🤗❣️
What's amazing to me is that nest can support the weight of a human. Eagles are amazing creatures. So happy the little eaglet is back safe with mom and dad and sibling. :-)

Hello Tim, Indeed it was! Magical moment when DC 4 was returned. So distressing to watch while the eaglet was wedged between the sticks... TFL tried everything to help, while her little one struggled for a long period of time. Fantastic result in the end. Such respect for the AEF and the rescuers involved... especially that wonderful man who climbed the tree. Couldn't have been easy... as it was so windy! Restores one faith in human nature! Hope this helps re lighting: (This is from the AEF Q & A page)...'The light you see is an infrared light which the Eagles cannot see. To the eagles, the nest is dark at night. We've installed low power IR illumination devices that are 7-10 feet from the nest. They do not emit heat, dangerous radiation, or noise. A small chip inside the camera does the job of converting the IR image into visible light through tiny electric charges. Images coming from IR cams will be in monochrome since the chip does not detect color'
Hello Bella, it was a wonderful rescue, I noticed too the plaintiff cry of the parent eagle, as if requesting assistance, and then it came. As you say, a display of heroism by the man who climbed the tree in the windy conditions. Thank you for sharing about the infrared light, it is really good to hear that the light cannot be seen by the eagles, and the part too interesting about how the camera chip 'sees' and send the image in black and white. ☼ ☺

*Press release from American Eagle Foundation*
*"During the early evening on April 20th, the right leg of one of the two eaglets (DC4) became stuck in a hole in the stick* *rails of the nest. It was rescued from the nest and assessed by a veterinarian, whereupon agreement was reached that* *DC4 could be returned to the nest. It is with great pleasure we can report that DC4 was successfully returned on Friday,* *April 21. Soon after, the parents came back to the nest and the family was happily reunited"*
In this case it was a *brilliant thing!* What an amazing rescue... made all us eagleholics deliriously (SO) very happy!

Awesome! I was very concerned that the nest might not support the weight of an adult human + the gear he was carrying, but it looked like MP & TFL did a great job building a strong nest. And it looked like the young 'uns are doing well. Thanks for sharing this!

Those long sad distress calls at the beginning from Mom (up to 0.58) were so painful to hear. I'm so grateful to all involved for the wonderful rescue and happy return of DC4. You are the most wonderful people for doing this.

What's amazing to me is that nest can support the weight of a human. Eagles are amazing creatures. So happy the little eaglet is back safe with mom and dad and sibling. :-)
I agree, they are the most majestic birds! Love watching them (EVERY DAY) via the eagle web cam. When the eagles left the nest last year, after successfully raising two eaglets... personal did reinforce the nest... looking back in hindsight, with what just happened, thank goodness they did!

Both the eaglets continued to thrive and flew off into the great blue yonder. That was last season. Yes, happy to report... Mr President and his First Lady are back again preparing that same nest for another brood!!!

Hello Tim, Indeed it was! Magical moment when DC 4 was returned. So distressing to watch while the eaglet was wedged between the sticks... TFL tried everything to help, while her little one struggled for a long period of time. Fantastic result in the end. Such respect for the AEF and the rescuers involved... especially that wonderful man who climbed the tree. Couldn't have been easy... as it was so windy! Restores one faith in human nature!
Hope this helps re lighting: (This is from the AEF Q & A page)...'The light you see is an infrared light which the Eagles cannot see. To the eagles, the nest is dark at night. We've installed low power IR illumination devices that are 7-10 feet from the nest. They do not emit heat, dangerous radiation, or noise. A small chip inside the camera does the job of converting the IR image into visible light through tiny electric charges. Images coming from IR cams will be in monochrome since the chip does not detect color'
Hello Bella, it was a wonderful rescue, I noticed too the plaintiff cry of the parent eagle, as if requesting assistance, and then it came. As you say, a display of heroism by the man who climbed the tree in the windy conditions.
Thank you for sharing about the infrared light, it is really good to hear that the light cannot be seen by the eagles, and the part too interesting about how the camera chip 'sees' and send the image in black and white. ☼ ☺
