It’s possible to start with the first evolution catch it, evolve it catch it evolve it again catch it and now you got 3 with one buddy and that will drastically reduce how many times you have to switch buddies

That's not even the hardest part. You need an event that's 8 days long, because you can only swap buddies 20 times a day. So on day 1, you can catch 21 Zorua (by having a buddy already set the day before, plus all 20 swaps), then day 2 you catch 20 more, same with day 3, and so on. By the 7th day, you'd have caught 141, and then the 8th day you'd have to catch the last 10
They should make an April fools day joke where there’s basically a zoroua community day and people are gonna be like ‘Oh FiVeHuNdReD MiLliOn ShiNy ChAriZaRdS’

When I first got pokemon go 2016 I had no idea what pokemon was so like the first pokemon I caught it turned into a ditto and it confused me so much then abt 30 minutes later I found a ditto again but shiny which confused the living fck out of me
I've caught 23 zorua in the past month but no ditto. I know how to look for the zorua. They always pop up as my buddy giratina and say "it's tiny". Legendary pokemon don't pop up in wild like that so I know it's a zorua. But I still catch them to hope for a shiny.

I can proudly say that i have completed the Gen 1 shiny Dex. Snorlax was the last shiny i need and I managed to get one during Go Fest this year.
