I don’t know how old you are or what you used to do for a living but I will tell you that I’m 43 and totally feel you on experiencing complete work burn out and choosing to change course! It’s a scary, difficult decision but absolutely worth it. I chose to leave decades of working lifeless, unfulfilling office jobs to start my own baking business! I’ve never felt more joyful and happy. I am sending you all my love and prayers for a new chapter in 2025 that brings your heart happiness. Much love from WA state, USA! xoxo
This was such a lovely and inspiring message to read! Thank you so much for sharing. And I absolutely feel you re unfulfilling office job. I definitely want to work somewhere that is much more fulfilling for me for my next job and it's so wonderful to hear that you've done it! Much love to you too 💜💜
We're in Aus too and it's shaping up to be so warm where we are. We're finally having our first chill-out Christmas in years, no driving back and forth between families. Honestly, looking forward to it! By the way, your skin looks amazing. I'm glad your health is improving and you're feeling better; it seems to be showing on the outside as well x
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been struggling but I’m so happy to hear you’re doing better!!! Thanks for a great video, glad you’re taking care of yourself 🩷🩷
Whipper snipper is the best aussie slang but also makes a ton of sense. Glad you're back! We'd rather have you back later and healthy than early and sick. Glad you prioritized yourself!
I got put on dangerous meds to control my Cushing's and it also encouraged me to start eating much much better. My diet wasn't bad to begin with but I added so many more veggies and fruit as preparation for the new meds as I knew my appetite would go down significantly so I'd have to be able to eat nutrient dense in small portions. I'm excited to have my muscles recuperate until I can jog again, though! (Cushing's can weaken muscles and causes joint pain among other things). So you're not alone! It feels good to do smt your body truly needs and deserves.
I feel you re it feels good to do something your body needs and deserves! I've definitely noticed a big difference to my body and mind since I started taking what I eat more seriously. Hoping there are lots of wonderful jogs in your future! ✨🏃♀️
Alex, it's so wonderful to see your face in a new video. I'm glad that you took time that you needed, not just for surgery but all the other things in your life as well. You look like you're glowing and I'm hoping good things truly come for you in the new year. ❤
I didn’t know you had chronic health issues! I am just coming out of a terrible dysautonomia flair up and watching your videos has been so helpful on days my fatigue is crushing and I just need to rest. From a fellow spoonie - Thank you so much for using some of your precious spoons (energy) to make videos 🥄 Best wishes for feeling rested and well to the greatest extent possible 🩵 Also, I bought two blushes to try (I never wear blush) after watching your videos 😊
Thank you for these kind words and I'm really glad that my videos can be a restful place for you to go to 💜 absolutely what I was hoping for when I create them! Yeah I haven't really spoken speficially about my health on here! I'll talk about it more in the video about changes I've made to improve my health 😊 And blush is honestly my favourite makeup product! Hope you enjoy them 💕
Omg, I can't deal with hot weather either. Luckily here in the US northeast, we're having winter lol. Snow outside and everything! I'm sorry you've been dealing with health issues, but I'm glad that with diet and lifestyle changes, you're feeling a bit better. It's not easy to make those changes!
So happy to hear you are taking time for yourself, it has been a rough year for everyone! Don't feel guilt for needing time and space you are a person with real needs, your audience understands! 😘 Continue to take some time off during the holidays and unwind, you deserve it 🎄
Going sober is one of the greatest things I've ever done for myself! I'm almost 4 years sober now 😊 and massively agree it has also been one of the best (if not the best) thing I've done for my mental health
If you’re looking to branch out on whatya film, ya should try a what I eat in a day or just what your basic day looks like ❤️ We’d love to see it! I hope you feel better soon. I know what it’s like to have dull days and feel a bit gloomy. We love you, girl.
I would love to learn more about eating to reduce inflammation etc. but it seems so difficult to do. I struggle with my health too and it’s exhausting, mentally as well as physically so I can totally relate. I hope you start to feel better soon 💛
I'll be sure to do the video! And yeah it's been a bit of a learning curve figuring out what foods work for me (and I'm still learning!) and also having good meals and snacks to fall back on that are tasty and you actually want to eat! It's much easier now I'm starting to build up that list and work from that. I've noticed a big difference so it's definitely been working for me! Hope you also start to feel better too 💜
We missed you Alex! I absolutely love your chatty videos. Btw, your nail polish is the most gorgeous green color I've ever seen...I love it❤. Hope you are feeling better and better everyday😊
Yes! So happy to see you! I got myself some half magic items for Xmas ( you introduced me to the brand) and I love to say half magic in an Aussie accent in my head 😂😂😂
@@alexglittersASMR❤❤❤ a couple sparkle sticks (champagne snowflake and the dreamies) and gloss in magic brownie. You are a delight to listen to, hugs from Philly ❤
Digestive issues can be debilitating-I’ve been there! For me, the Fodmap diet was too restrictive but I found that taking digestive enzymes made a huge difference. Game changer! So glad I found them!
Im English, but I travelled Australia for a year about 30 years ago when i was young and that was before it got stupid hot. It was about 30c, which felt like hell. I remember Christmas day on Bondi (cliche I know) and it felt weird and wrong. I love cold Christmases too. I hope you dont get any fires this summer 😢
So happy to get a long form video from you ❤ do you celebrate Boxing Day in Australia? I'm French but live in London so I celebrate Christmas Eve, Christmas, and Boxing Day 😂 it's a very busy time of year!
such a random question but do you find that australia has most of the makeup products that americans talk about? i live in the uk in a pretty big city and find that some american stuff u just cannot find here. maybe australia is kinda more popular than us now😔

I am also recovering from burn out. I stopped drinking alcohol 3 months ago and I would say by far that has helped my mental health the most ❤

Hello fellow melbournian! ❤️ Feel free to come say hi if you ever spot me out and about! And same to you pal 🫶
For any americans who feel like 43 isnt that much… 43 C is about 109 degrees F (😳) which is absolutely unheard of in the us!!!!!
How is the bread baking going? I am maybe about to start myself 🍞☺️ It feels a bit intimidating
Hi there, this video was so relaxing.
❤❤❤
Hello ❤❤

You should definitely get a tascam!
