Gigi is a remarkable filmmaker. Her work speaks for itself. I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing Satanic Hispanics and man that film hit me in all the right places. Such a blast!
(Havent watched yet, just saw this in my feed!) When recently I watched V/H/S/85, I took note of Gigi, and Wiki'd her because I loved her "God of Death" segment. I was surprised to find that she grew up in tiny lil White Rock, BC, and went to the school I went to, but was 2 years younger. So weird! Gotta support the locals though! I haven't watched her other work just yet, but it's at the top of my list. I'm excited to hear what she has to say!
Whoa that's such a weird feeling to see Stuckman have Gigi on as a guest since Gigi was one of my mentors when I was doing film school. Fun Fact: She is a massive Pokémon fan and me and my friend made her laugh so hard when we made a mockumentary of Ash Ketchum when he's 30-years-old and a washed up alcoholic and Pikachu as a drug addict as a class project.
Your movie was at best, ok received by your friends the critics at worst it was boring. I am glad about this. It is justice for the fans you turned your back on.
@gigisaulguerrero769 is a multilingual multi hyphenate filmmaker and an absolute inspiration. Not to mention gorgeous 😍. It's exciting to hear that she is focused on making her own projects that have nothing to do with horror (and I say that as a big fan of her work with Shudder). Having seen El Gigante and knowing that Eddie Guerrero's family, mainly Chavo, wants to make a movie about the Guerrero family makes me want to see her direct it. After seeing The Iron Claw, I wanna see wrestling mix with film so much more. Dark Side of the Ring covers a lot, but with the right filmmakers, like Gigi, we could see so much more. I think that she would make a marvelous wrestling film if gjven the chance. Keep up the great work Chris and Gigi.
You mean keep up the good work GiGi. Cuz all stuckmann is doing is trying to collab with anybody so he can call them "friends" and build his network around them. He's not doing nearly the amount of work she is. GIGI is the one that deserves the million dollars ...not stuckmann
Gigi came to our university class as a guest speaker last week. she was awesome . So cool to see her here!
Chris had to mention having a wife a minute in because he was accidentally rizzing her up too much 😂

Film school being a safe place to fail was honestly such a statement. I always dismissed film school but that was one helluva point
I appreciate that!!!
One of my fav podcasts
I love Gigi!! I first saw her in a string of Colgate toothpaste commercials and thought it was so awesome that she also wrote and directed films too.
Yay!! I love Gigi!!

Great interview.
That’s funny I just watched your VHS 85 review on Wednesday. I need to catch up on the series, the last one I saw was Viral.

I almost got her confused with Eddie Guerrero's daughter
Eyyo Stucky!!! What are your thoughts on RDJ returning to the MCU as DOOM, huh????

It's like a line cook talking to a chef ..about cooking for others
I hate pre stuff
A stark contrast. On one side you have someone actually working hard. On the other side you have a man child taking shortcuts .
