yes protection online is very important, despite the magical part i’d recommend to never put your full name online anywhere unless is a government thing, bc there are websites where you put a person’s full name and you have even their full address so… we gotta be careful. about the magical part i don’t really post much of myself so you can’t really find info on me to even send me the evil eye, but i am very careful on the content i consume since some things i notice are very draining to me

blocking is one of my favorite ways of protecting myself, i no longer feel forced to follow or constantly see someone who i feel like consumes my energy. this works mostly for those who aren’t exposed as much as content creators are, but it’s always good to remind people that you can build your own social media habits and make them healthy by taking care of yourself :)

I also really needed this. As a witch who is on an active classroom on witchcraft it can be exhausting and protection is one of the major major things that is needed. Not only to make sure you don’t get bad vibes, but to ensure that no negative stuff gets into the classroom PHYSICALLY (like toxic people joining. Unfortunately had to learn this the hard way lol). Thanks for the video!!!❤

I think that this is how the world is. Taking precautions is normal and healthy. There are people who are always going to be trifling. Focus on yourself. Don't worry about others that much. It's on them. You have the power to choose how you react.

Loving the red headscarf, you look amazing in it! It’s sad that creators have to take so many precautions, but I’m happy you are educating beginner practitioners like myself!

Just talked to my therapist about that. She told me to take an appointment with myself. Determine if I want to draw, crochet, write and do it without seeking constant stimulation. I'm addicted to constant information. A least a few hours everyday.

I prefer to block people that are negative. It's a good way to separate yourself from them. Protection prayers or spells are good too. Please make more videos. They are entertaining and educational.♥️

this is a really great topic/vid! 🤘🏼 🧿 although i no longer have a public account i still take my due diligence to protect myself online. i just saw this dolly parton interview where she was saying how it’s so important to keep some things just for yourself- not to share everything with everyone. privacy is the greatest form of protection imo but i don’t necessarily think it’s bad to occasionally share personal things. we just need to use our discernment and make sure we are sharing with the right people. i know it’s different for a person with a platform online but for me personally i find “remove follower” and “unfollow” to be the best forms of protection 😭 get that funky energy away 🤺

I think no matter if you are a small or large content creator, setting personal boundaries and protections are important. Social media can be a wonderful place to connect and interact but it can also be very toxic. I think the algorithms do play a role in that toxicity especially on tiktok (imo). I personally choose more permanent protections that serve in all my aspects of life and extend into the online spaces. Everyone will choose what works best for them though. There has been a debate for awhile on showing/ sharing personal practices, and I know many who see this as very taboo. I take the other stance and do show a lot of my personal work and practices because it has helped others to see that, to inspire them and give them ideas for their own. Does that open a vulnerable space - yes, but it also helps others to actually see another's practice. I'm not saying everyone needs to do this but I do think we, as a community, should stop looking at that kind of sharing as taboo and bashing those who do. Very good video, thank you for sharing.

as someone who is a very very small content creator. I still take precautions. I feel no matter the size or even if you don't make content you need to be safe. people can not like you and want to harm you for just simply breathing.

Hooooo wow this one resonates and sorry for the book of a comment I know this might be. I'm also a content creator (though my practice is not the core of my content) and protecting myself and my family is priority one.
My top protection thing is being exceedingly deliberate in who I trust. I had a community member who I *thought* was a friend try and have my kid taken away because he was angry with me over how I ran a fundraiser. Yes, it was exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. He was angry enough over me raising money for charity, that he literally decided to try and ruin our lives.
My other big protection items outside of spellwork are having very firm boundaries, being liberal with my block / ban buttons, and having a Mod Team whose values align with mine. My content is mostly live streamed and having people in my corner that will not hesitate to protect our community is a line of defense I am eternally grateful for. I also have DMs closed except for mutuals and heavy filters on my public email addresses.
I really love the taglock and sigil ideas you use, I may need to try those as well.

I have a quick question, does putting protection oil or a protective spray mist in your hair veiling? Or is it only the act of actually covering your hair that counts as veiling?
